SAS is a carnival barker but Brown is so focused on the wrong things. It did not bother him that they lost in round one. He has spent more time on twitch saying dumb stuff that he has had to walk back, leaking his unhappiness to T Mac and now fighting with SAS.

It is getting tiresome.

Brown likes to think of himself as the smartest man in the room but his on court play in the playoffs and his antics after the season are making him look ridiculous. Go on vacation. Touch grass.

LSU has reportedly agreed to a $5 million deal with Israeli forward Yam Madar, who is a member of the Hapoel Tel Aviv program in Israel. Madar, who?s set to turn 26 in December, was drafted with the 47th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, but never signed with the team. The 6-foot-3 guard from Israel has been playing professional basketball since 2018 and was named the 2023 EuroLeague Rising Star.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Do I have this right, Yam Madar will get $5M of NIL money to play at LSU for (1) season?  And he can do this because he never otherwise played in college?

This seems very strange.  I wonder if he will even go to class?

SAS just shot back.

Smith can 'threaten' that but everyone knows he's no journalist and will continue to pass off his opinion and speculation as 'fact' or 'reporting'.

Idk. He was a NBA insider and beat reporter for a long time. He seems to know what?s going on in the league. Knows a lot of people.

Smith is out of line.  All he is saying is that he will report how the organization might feel about him.  How the city may feel about him, how Tatum may or may not feel about him.  What does that even mean?  So he is going to report that the Celtics organization might not like Brown?  He seems to be feigning that he might or might not actually know anything but that he may or may not report it anyway.  This does not sound very journalistic to me.

It actually sound more like something Trump would say.  I can report that China might buy more soy beans from US farmers.

It's also just straight up a threat. Isn't this blackmail? "Stop speaking out against my reporting or I will release this hidden information."

And now Perk is dipping his nose on the JB issue. Are they really driving JB away from Boston? This is crazy stuff.

Yes, yes they are.
How else are they going to get eyeballs in the off season? They NEED us to trade Brown for Giannis. They don't care if the fit is bad or if the chemistry is ruined.

The only person driving JB out of Boston is JB with all the stupid things he is saying.  His conduct, actions, and statements are what is causing almost all of this.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Welp, we finally agree on something about JB.  And unfortunately, it feels like a big thing, because he's turning a nothingburger into an organizational distraction.  Again, Kyrie-like.

I don't think there's ever been a Celtics player that I've hated off the court as much as I love him on it.  I'm a big fan of JB the player, flaws and all.  I'm not a fan of his off-court nonsense, at all.  The antisemitic-adjacent stuff really p---ed me off, and the "smartest dude with one quasi-year of college in the room" schtick is getting old.

I had zero problems with what he said on his first stream. It was perfectly clear to anyone reading his words that his "favorite" comment was not dissing Tatum. He is not responsible for others twisting his words. Some people intentionally read it wrong and then others didn't even read it and went with false narrative they were given. That's not on him. Anything else is unhealthy boundaries.

Do you think it was wise for him to say that immediately after a first round playoff loss?  Particularly when he played poorly in Games 5 and 6?

It wasn't just that though. It's the whining about the refs, and the beef.with SAS, and not taking accountability for his bad decisions, and all of it.

I agree with the comments not being anything controversial.  That being said, he had to know how this would be spun.  He's been around long enough.  That's concerning.  Did he not just care or was he looking to stir the pot?

Kind of reminds me of how the whole Kyrie thing started.  Before it got really weird, I think he started by going back at the reporters and how sick he was of answering questions and blah blah.
