I?m all for this! Dalano had some really nice games for Portland last season. He could be a cheap bench weapon when JT comes back.

We are at 15 players now, and only about $300,000 under the second apron (depending on the final value of Hugo Gonzalez's contract).  BOS would have to cut Davison (his contract is not guaranteed) or dump someone in a trade.

Banton (born Nov 7, 1999) is only 5 months younger than Simons (born June 8, 1999).  People talk about Simons as if there is no remaining ceiling (which I don't necessarily agree with).  It is funny how the perception of players can be different.  I don't disagree that Banton would be an interesting player to bring in but I don't think BOS will cut Davison to do it and not sure a roster spot will open up otherwise.

Yeah he was interesting when he was here brief as it was.  6?9? with PG skills. Not much of a distance shooter.

Tomorrow the Jrue and KP trades should finalize.  Be interesting to see what further moves Stevens makes.  I expect the direction will be to get below the tax line.

Does the fact that those moves haven?t become official prohibit the Celtics from making other trades? Genuine question not being sarcastic!

Not really.  They would just being agreeing to contingent trades, with the contingency being that the first trade is finalized.
