There's really no reason to be calling plays for Jaylen on the perimeter as much as they're doing.

I wonder if the team would be better with a more off-ball shooter type than a slasher like Jaylen.

They don't really need Jaylen's 25ppg with Jrue & Porzingis joining. An 18-20ppg high efficiency shooter would probably add more to the offense.

Teams with strong, aggressive perimeter defense will be challenging for us.  We have a ton of tools in our toolbox, but all of our ball-handlers are prone to mistakes against pressure.  Something to watch.

They weren’t defending the perimeter aggressively in the first quarter though…they were nowhere to be seen. They clearly made an adjustment after halftime when Thibs probably yelled at them

Fun 1st half, not so much in the 3rd.  Time for the bench in the 4th.

This team has to be unselfish to reach their goals. JB can’t be a volume shooter driving into oblivion

Banton made sure he ended up on the floor with that loose ball after getting yelled at by Joe for not doing so the previous game

Banton learned his lesson and went to the floor for the loose ball.

I’m really enjoying watching Pritchard. Glad he’s getting minutes.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Frustrated with JB. He’s making all the same mistakes as last year, as well as playing way too selfishly as last year. Has stop the dumb, forced hero ball.

And he rarely makes the extra pass, either, even with four other excellent shooters out there.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Pritchard came in and started beating his man off the dribble at will, and suddenly our offense is clicking again.

EDIT: Should have kept my mouth shut, haha.

Yeah, a Ray Allen would be best. Or, a Shane Battier type + extra big man help is arguably better as well.

I don't think anything is set in stone, but my guess is Brown is eventually traded. If they win 1-2 titles, maybe he sticks around longer. The offense really should be running through Tatum and Porzingis if they're on the court.

It feels like Joe has called more timeouts this game than he did all of last season  :police:
