Same. He’s a really good athlete and has the size to be an enforcer down low. Hope he works out for the C’s.

He moves well.  Good Initial first step and reaction.  Doesn't look like he's stuck in mud like some of the other bug projects like kabengele.  I'll be curious to see him develop this year.

Absolutely. He turned 24 a few months ago, so he definitely has upside. Played 10mins and had 10pts/3rebs/2ast.

Even better than that. He played 7:46 and was amazingly a +14. That's crazy.

Agree with others on Svi, too. He has quite the bag. Wish our defensive pick-ups (Stevens, Brissett, Walsh, Banton) weren't so awful from 3.

Drew Carter is going to be a good play-by-play guy.  He was a good pick.  Already seems to have better chemistry with Scal than any of the other guys, including Mike.

He actually reminds me of a young Mike. Really nice tv/radio voice, not reading from a script, knows a bit about the game.

Is it safe to say Queta is ahead of Gabriel at this point? I have a feeling Queta’s contract will be converted to a regular one if he continues to impress.

I know I am advocating for signing him above, but there is really no reason for the team to do so unless they see him playing playoff rotation minutes. He'll be available for the Celtics throughout the season regardless. Definitely an intriguing pick-up. Hopefully he continues to improve and he can become a legitimate player for the team at some point.

Agreed. I’m just saying if he continues to impress, maybe there’s a chance Brad converts his contract to a regular one to make him playoffs eligible. No need to do it now since he’s under team control anyway.

The best thing about him IMO is he doesn't overtalk. He picks his moments without breathlessly describing every action on the court.

Very impressive 3rd Quarter show tonight put on by PP and Hauser. Mykhailiuk again fills it up and I like his athleticism.

On the other hand, the non-shooters clanked it up big time.  Brissett and Stevens combined go 0 for 8 from floor - somewhat less than ideal.  Banton joined the 0-fer brigade as did Walsh - both 0 for 3. Davison 1-4.  Stevens and Brissett didn't even have good misses from what I could see. Most of their shots were way off.
