If Minny takes Game 5 then this is a series again with Dallas in danger of losing Game 6. But, it is hard to win 4 games in a row. I sure hope Minnesota does not become the first to ever do it.

If Dallas wins, well, they win.

You would rather go up against Dallas than Minnesota? Any particular reason you feel that way?

personally, I think we match up better with dallas. also, for some reason Minnesota never really challenged luca defensively. he was able to just stand there in a corner watching. in a potential series i fully expect boston to attack luca/kyrie and try and make them defend. even the announcers asked how bizarre it was they let luca just rest on defensive posessions.

not sure minnesota will win. as we can see with our 7 game series last year. winning 4 in a row is hard. but Minnesota has a chance. 2 of next 3 at home. I expect them to win big next game.

but probably lose in dallas game 6. but if KAT is truly back and they stop turning the ball over this can be a series.

Dallas should be 1-3 right? thats how this works? (at least thats all i heard about the celtics-pacers series)

I got the Wolfs winning ONE more , the next , then Doncic lowers the hammer and they get beat by 30 to end it.

I have the Wolves by double digits in Game 5.

That sets up a game 6 that will decide the series...Dallas wins they are in. Wolves win and there could be a massive game 7 that I am not sure the Mavs want to deal with.

I don't see MIN as talented enough or having enough emotional fortitude to win 4 straight vs. DAL.  I see these teams as too evenly matched for that to happen.  The only exception would be if Luka gets hurt or something like that, which may not be all that much of a stretch.

The way Luka has to play, in order for them to win, results in him taking a beating.  He has been taking that beating every other day or so for the last several weeks.  If they can close this out, he can get some rest, but most of the key Celtics players are going to be much fresher, much less beat up (Porzingis being the exception, and he might be fine, you just don't know).

It's so nice being on the other side for once watching the team you'll face stress about not allowing a series to go too long.

Denver felt that way last year. Seeing MIA/BOS battle it out while they swept LAL.

And I think it had an effect. Yes Denver was superior to Miami anyways, but you could tell after Game 2 of the Finals that Miami's guys were gassed.

I know Harlan is supposed to be impartial but you could hear the genuine joy in his voice with the TWolves winning and getting to go back to Minneapolis. That franchise has been thru some crap and Harlan has been there for a lot of it .

Always been a Harlan fan. I would take him over Breen 10 times out of 10.

TNT is a better product all around. ESPN is atrocious

wish we had TNT for the finals. ESPN sucks.

Unless you got someone like Mike Conley hitting a put back layup for a buzzer-beating win in Game 6 and forcing Game 7 back to Minny 😂 imitation of Derrick White's shot last year

Kyrie and Luka don't really play stellar defense. Our backcourt can overwhelm them on offense, but the Jays will need to come up big. And KP's return will help with rim protection and scoring against their front court.

Minny has a heavy front court talent and Ant-Man. One trick pony team that can turn it up when they want. They were the second team in the West to worry about after Denver.

Mavs feel kinda like a poor man's version of the 2022 Warriors. They each have one shot-making freak. But then the Warriors' cast just seems deeper and more experienced.

Wiggins inexplicably had become a very good 2-way player, then they had the defensive thug Draymond, plus Klay, Poole, and Looney.

I just think those guys are better than what Dallas has. And we're more experienced now. We really should be able to handle them,  assuming they don't collapse here.

It also won't be the worst thing if the Wolves win another game or 2 but Dallas eventually finishes the series.  It might put some doubt in their minds. Kind of like how Miami put doubt into us in 2022, and how the raptors' miracle shot put doubt into us in the bubble.
