Celtics in 6

5.

Yeah, I'm trying to be realistic and not overlook them, but I just don't see how Dallas wins this. We matchup super well with them, and they simply have no shot of guarding us, especially with a healthy KP.

Sure, they may take a game or two max with a huge explosion from Luka and Kyrie, but that only gets you so far.

I still think the pressure is squarely on Minnesota, but IF Minnesota wins at home the pressure will surely shift onto Dallas to close out.

My guess is home teams win 5 and 6. Dallas gets 4 days off before Finals.

I think not only does Minnesota win they win big Thursday

I’m still not impressed with Dallas

Dallas had 34 points off turnovers and still lost

I hope minny gets game 5. That being said, do we still like the Mavs instead of Minny as a finals opponent?

  • GOT IT!!!
It's crazy but I can see Dallas blowing this series lol The longer it goes the worse it will be for their stars. Luka is gimpy and Kyrie seems to get tired out. Game 6 will be the series. I've already got Minnesota rolling on Thursday, we shall see.

I think we do.  Both Minny games this year went to OT, and we blew out the Mavs even with their post-deadline roster that’s improved.  Minny I think just matches up with us a little better.  Dallas has defenders we can attack.

These takes are unbelievable. Kyrie over JT? But Lively over Porzingis takes the cake.

I think I agree. That said, we never did get to play Minny fully healthy, either. Minny was fully healthy the first game while we were missing White, and they were missing Conley/Gobert the second game while we were missing KP. I think when fully healthy our offense is much better, which is needed against a tough defense like Minny.

(Also - it's funny you mention beating Minny's post-deadline roster, as I've heard a ton of media trying to wipe away the regular season as meaningless, even the post-deadline game, as they weren't set on their lineup and rotation yet, despite being on a streak of winning 8 of 10 games coming into our game with them. Anything to discredit the Celtics team!)

I know Harlan is supposed to be impartial but you could hear the genuine joy in his voice with the TWolves winning and getting to go back to Minneapolis. That franchise has been thru some crap and Harlan has been there for a lot of it .

Always been a Harlan fan. I would take him over Breen 10 times out of 10.

Well, everyone outside the Mavs fanbase wanted to extend the series. I can see why he's excited. lol
