Cs getting lots of hate on twitter (X). There’s seems to be an agenda where it’s anybody but the Celtics to win. Add to that, people are ready to put an asterisk if Boston ever wins, citing the injuries and breaks (Minny beating Denver). Crazy stuff. I don’t really care though, let’s go for banner 18!

Those people must really be idiots. Every year before this we've had to play multiple series against Embiid, Giannis, Durant, Spoelstra. And we've had wildly inopportune injuries during those runs.

Not to mention just about ecery other recent champion has had a favorable path. The Nuggets, Bucks, Bubble Lakers (lol), Raptors, the Warriors. All faced dubious competition and/or injured teams. It just seems to be the way of things now. More parity and the healthiest team wins.

Ignore Twitter.  The Celtics have been the best team all year long, and the best in several seasons.  That they made quick work of their playoff competition was no surprise.  Everyone is jealous.

ESPN does its best every day to set the Celtics up for failure. One day it’s the Celtics aren’t tested enough. Then when they win a gritty game like game 4 in Cleveland it’s “I can’t believe they didn’t win by 30.”

It’s Tatum needs to do whatever it takes to win… so Tatum becomes a distributor and plays team ball. Response is I can’t believe he isn’t averaging 40 a game.

Today’s hot take is more of the same. Too much pressure on Boston. Indiana is just the team to give them trouble.

I am tired of Stephen a carnival barker and Kendrick Perkins.

Ant is praised for his horrible performance because he made plays and helped his team-mates.

yet Tatum got trashed for doing the same? I really hope we win banner 18 so this anti-tatum narrative can end

You guys really need to get off of Twitter and the talk shows, lol.

We aren't the shiny new toy.  We've been in this position almost perennially for nearly a decade and now people want more.  We're not going to get that positive press.  It is what it is.  Hell, you see that within our own fanbase.

We'll get our flowers, whether genuine or reluctant, if we win this thing.

The weird thing about all the press, is none of the injuries to other team's matter at all in the East as Boston is, was, and would be far and away the best team in the conference. It isn't particularly close either.  The west is where all the other good team's are.

I remember back in 2017 series with Cs against the Wizards. Wizards have outscored the Celtics yet lost that series.

I love it when strange things like this happen.

Good times. It's crazy to look back at those times when we had the likes of IT, Olynyk, Bradley, Crowder, Smart, Horford, etc. lol. Yeah they weren't talented enough to make the Finals but they still had some fun playoff runs. The Wizards one was actually awesome (lets not talk about the next round)

Orlando outscored Cleveland by 31 in the 1st round this year. The Knicks only had 1 more point than the Sixers in the 1st round this year.

I love this stat. Lu Dort had 30 fouls in the 6gm series against Luka. He averaged 5 fouls a game. OKC were milking for everything they could get out of him. Body up Luka. Hit Luka. Knock Luka over.

Dort did a good job. 34.7mpg. He managed to stay on the court a good amount while still using his fouls to rough up Luka.

It still bugs me that we could have taken him, but traded the pick for a future Atlanta second.

That said, this post is in error, and he was not on the All-Rookie team. It was GG Jackson of Memphis, not Jackson-Davis.
