Ant shoots terribly: he trusts his teammates.

Tatum shoots similarly: his teammates saved him.

The narrative the next few weeks will be nauseating.

Defending champion Nuggets actually blew a 20-point lead in a game 7 at home. Incredible.

What is the best Nuggets forum chat room - Gotta be a complete meltdown.

If Mavs loose game one , they might get swept
How do you figure?
I’d be slightly concerned if I were a wolves fan with how much they celebrated like they already won the title. It was the second round and they still have 2 to go.

 Franchise’s first WCF in 20 yrs and the just beat the champs. I Don’t fault them at all.

True, not everyone has as lofty standards as we do  :police:

I don’t really blame them either but they haven’t done anything yet. I think the wolves have a great chance to win it all but I like our chances against them more than I did Denver. It’s our time and we have a little more experience and already know what it’s like to play in the finals. Could be a factor.

I find it interesting that the other 3 teams all have size.  IND has Turner and Siakam. MIN of course Towns and Gobert (and Reid). DAL picked up some size at the deadline. Right now, we got Horford and Kornet. I think we are understandably the favorite but this won’t be easy.

I don’t think we should be the favorite. On paper, Minnesota looks equal.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

With all the hate that Tobias Harris got from Philly fans for 4 years I'm surprised MPJ is getting much more leniency from Dallas fans. Their outputs are quite literally the same. The difference is that MPJ plays with Jokic who passes the ball, and Tobias plays with Embiid who doesn't.

(click to enlarge)

Sure he's not at Jokic's passing level but Embiid was averaging 5.6 assists before he got hurt.  Both of the prior 2 seasons he averaged 4.2 assists.

Indiana also had the good fortune of the Knicks falling apart, physically, during the playoff run.

As well as no Giannis nor Dame at times vs the Bucks...

So this will be the first time the Pacers play a pretty healthy team. Cs need to get KP back ASAP.

With KP back I think we should be though. We have experience and I’d say our top 3 are better than their top 3.

Not even getting into our 4-6 vs their 4-6.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
It's stupid people are talking about our path like it really mattered. We won 64 games and ran away with the East. If we didn't make the ECF, it would have been a huge disaster. Same with the Finals.

Indy is the real lucky team here. I wanted them to lose the #6 spot so we got them in the 1st round. They have no real business being in the ECF, but are really only here because of injuries. The Bucks and Knicks being fully healthy would have been rough. We were always going to make it at least this far even if it took an extra game the 1st two playoff series'.

Also, we have been without KP - another bonus for Indy. Silence the haters and keep our push going. Hopefully the Mavs and Wolves beat up on each other and we finish the Pacers off in 4 or 5.

Not disagreeing.  We should match up just fine:

Horford  ------>    Turner
Tatum  -------->    Siakam
Brown  -------->    Nesmith
White   -------->    Nembhard
Holiday   ------->   Haliburton

Obviously, containing Haliburton is the primary goal.  Turner has hurt us in the past.
