Can someone please explain one specific instance during the Nuggets Timberwolves game. With 1:47 remaining in the game, there was a jump ball and only 6 seconds left on the Timberwolves shot clock. There was a tip and scramble for the ball, which lead to another jump ball. The time on the clock was the 1:41, but the shot clock never moved off of 6 seconds. Shouldn't the shot clock have run out before that second jump ball? If the referees didn't notice, then someone on that Nuggets bench definitely should have. It was almost as if the Denver team checked out at that moment.
