Honestly, neither of these teams should win more than a game on Boston.

But it’s probably better for us to play NYK, as (1) they play hard and will force us to play hard the entire time, and (2) with the crazy hype around them, we shouldn’t be taking them lightly, even with the injuries. Feels like Indy would be more of the same for us.

Yep, neither of these teams are a threat.

Amazing to go three series deep without seeing a real opponent yet. Our first quality opponent will be in the Finals. Possibly the easiest run to the Finals of All-Time.
Might be. I heard on NBA Radio that the 1987 Lakers had a pretty easy time winning the WC. Their 3 opponents RS games won were 37, 35, and 42.

I was trying to think of who the heck the Lakers played in those two other series other than Seattle in the WCF. I looked it up.

It was the Warriors in the WCSF. The Sleepy Floyd Game where he scores 51pts including a record 29pts in the Q4 to beat LA. I don't think it was much of a series other than that though.

And they beat the Fat Lever / Alex English Nuggets in the first round. Denver won only 37 games that year after winning 47 the year before and 54 the year after. They lost Calvin Natt to a season ending injury in 1987. Why they dropped from 47 to 37 wins. Not enough offense around A English. Added Michael Adams and Jay Vincent to boost them in 1988. Weakened side in 1987.

That was an easy run for LAL. The WCF series with SEA was pretty good. I do not remember anything of the first two other than the Sleepy Floyd game. They look like easy wins for LAL from the box scores.

What's with Minnesota bigs and being foul prone?

Oh come on. Box out Aaron Gordon.

He is the one guy on the Nuggets team that attacks the offensive glass consistently ... meaning he is the one and only guy you gotta make sure every time down you put a body on him.

Ant is clearly out of rhythm with the double teams and increased defensive focus.

Feels like up to this point he hasn't seen this kind of defensive pressure and isn't handling it well.

Jokic is brilliant at sealing his man. A lost art.

All five Minny starters have between 5-7pts apiece.

Not sure that is great. Nobody has a hot hand. Ant only 1-5 FGA. Towns is the one guy with 7pts and 3-8 FGA. Their offense looks like they do not know where to go to get a good shot right now. Who to give the ball too.

Towns picks up such stupid silly fouls. Unnecessary.

Have some discipline.

Why Slow Mo instead of Naz Reid?

Who cares if Naz Reid has 3 fouls? This is your season on the line. He is your 3rd big. Play him!!!

Come on Gobert. Don't overpass. You are 7-2 in the paint. Just finish over the top. Don't force the extra pass. Shoot.

Good point by Reggie Miller on Mike Malone playing C Braun down the stretch last game instead of MPJ. MPJ was playing like crap. Braun was playing well. Mike Malone went with the hot hand and it helped get his team the victory.

The exact opposite of Rick Carlisle with the Pacers. He refuses to alter his rotation and ends up benching hot hands & playing guys who are having bad games. This cost them dearly in Gms 1 & 2.
