Shams Charania: Mike Budenholzer has agreed to terms on a five-year, $50-plus million deal to become the new head coach of the Phoenix Suns, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium . Suns land the two-time NBA Coach of the Year and Arizona native. – via Twitter ShamsCharania

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Not sure I have ever seen a PG physically bully Nembhard the way Brunson has in this series.

Nembhard is not a super big guard. He does get bullied by big wings. But I haven't seen a PG do it. He is a legit 6-4 combo guard. He has solid muscle. But Brunson is built like a tank. Nembhard just isn't strong enough to contain him.

Indy only 9ast on 22 buckets. Uncharacteristic.

I guess because Haliburton is the one doing most of the scoring. But, their offense doesn't feel as sustainable throughout the game. Too reliant on Hali going nuts.

23pts and only 1ast for Haliburton so far.

NY and Indy both have funky AST numbers.

NY = 21 buckets, 10 assists, 8 turnovers
Indy = 24 buckets, 10 assists, 7 turnovers

High turnovers. Bad AST:TOV ratio. Low AST/FGM%.

Both teams relying on individual heroics rather than teamwork on the offensive end.

I really need the Celtics to win tomorrow for my own sanity.

Stark contrast between the effort NY puts in compared to us.
Still don't believe in Joe.

A beat up Knicks team missing so many guys. Frustrating to say the least.

NY have been impressive in this series.

At the start of the playoffs, I thought Indy would be able to out-gun this NY team but NY have been better. Tougher mentally and physically. More unity. More togetherness on both ends. And then the individual brilliance of Brunson.

DiVincenzo = 32pts through three quarters

6-8 3PTA
5-13 2PTA
11-21 overall FGA

Josh Hart with another 9pts 14reb 4ast game.

I wish Boston played as hard as the Knicks do

Teams are reflection of their coaches.

NY will be trouble next year once they get Randle back. They will be a legit problem in a postseason series then. Not this year. Not without Rnadle. But next year, they'll be trouble.

Clear separation from the trailing pack along with a Philadelphia team with a healthy Embiid. NY and Philly will be the main challengers to BOS next year.

So I guess NY is going to sweep this and get rest before the ECF

I wish the Celtics had a sense of urgency like this Knicks team….there heart is pretty impressive….if the pacers can’t find a way to win this game it’s kinda pathetic

Teams are reflection of their coaches.

They are more a reflection of their best player. Having an enabler at head coach certainly doesn't help though.
