Wow, bizarre comments by Doc.  I would say the shine is wearing off quickly.  I wonder if anyone still wants to be there, Doc?  Giannis?  Lillard?

I guess the larger question is whether the Bucks are going to be a switch team come playoff time or is the reality that they could very well be one & done?

If they draw PHI and Embiid and Maxey are both playing, they very well could be one and done.  I just hope that if that does happen, that it goes 7 games and Embiid gets really worn down.

Doc Rivers already starting to blame everyone but himself. Yeah I'm sure the cooks and drivers and everyone else would have really helped on the court

I don't think it is a lack of professionalism. It is a lack of talent & athleticism. They just do not have enough foot-speed on defense.

They have one of the worst defensive PGs in the league.
They have one of the worst defensive SGs in the league.
They have one of the worst defensive SFs in the league.

And they have one of the slowest least mobile centers in the league. You can work with a slow immobile center when you have big active athletic talented defensive perimeter guys (to shrink the floor). When you have bad perimeter guys, that all falls apart.

It worked with Jrue Holiday and a pre-injury Khris Middleton. It doesn't work anymore. It wouldn't have worked even had they kept Jrue. Middleton just isn't the same defensive player anymore.

it'll be interesting to see the precise way in which doc orchestrates his exit from milwaukee.

Umm by orchestrate do you mean getting fired? Cause that is how it ended in Philly and basically in LA (though they claimed they was mutual to save face).

Milwaukee is weirder tho because this is the third coach in a year, and it will be difficult to get a top candidate as coach #4.  So the Bucks will be incentivized to help Doc to find a landing spot.

He is like a cat with 9 lives but if this season ends in disappointment and bucks want to dump him no team will hire him. It will be tv/podcasts for life.

So the ideal goal is for Indy to finish 8th and push Miami and Philly in some order to 6 and 7. With that said, is the best route for that to root for a Miami or a Philly win tonight? I’m guessing Miami?

Indy finishing 7th is fine.  If you subscribe to the belief that Philly is a real threat with Embiid, they should be able to win the 7-8 game if they’re on the road.  Just need Indy out of 6th.

I want PHI 7 or 8 going in to the play in so they can get MIL in the first round.  It is better for MIA to win in that case.

Yeah, no thanks to a healthy Philly in round one. We should definitely still win, but that’s an unnecessarily difficult/risky first round opponent.

Let Milwaukee or Cleveland have them lol

I know we want PHI to face MIL first round ideally, but then again, what if PHI gets hot and takes the #6 seed? Might not be terrible. I would prefer the Pacers or Bulls but that still exists if MIA is in the 7-8 bracket. I really want to avoid PHI though, at least until the ECF. Milwaukee could still have trouble against the Heat or Pacers.
