Interesting to see if the teams playing .500 the last month like the bucks, clippers, Cavs and heat can turn it around in playoffs.

Well, the good news is the Celtics still have 3 of those teams left.

Think the Heat Sixers game tonight is going to go a long way in who finishes 7 and 8. Heat have Sixers and Pacers here so they could really grab the 6 seed here.

Bucks drawing the Sixers would be beautiful.

Seems Giannis isn't really healthy either. Nagging leg injury.

I'd love to see Giannis and Embiid face off in a playoff series. I feel like we've been robbed that we haven't seen it so far.

This is ideal.  No matter what you think of MIA or other teams, Giannis and Embiid are the best two individual players we will meet in the east.  Let them beat each other up in the first round.

Having Miami, Philly, Cleveland and Milwaukee cannibalize each other on the other side of the bracket would be just something that makes me happy.

Woke up to this headline:

"Unheralded NBA bench player posts stunning 50-point game"

And part of me was hoping it was Dean Wade, to help wash away some of the stank from that terrible Cleveland loss.

Malachi Flynn, wow.

Toronto hasn't won a game in a month.  Quietest 15 game losing streak I can recall.  Just need 2 more to move into the top 30 all time and no one talks about it at all.  They picked the right season to have it
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

A race to the bottom for the worst draft maybe ever.

Thought the Knicks had a sneaky chance to come out of the east if they managed to get healthy.  Not favorites, but definitely a pain-in-the-ass out for us or anybody else.

Without Randle they just don't have enough firepower.  Brunson is good but he can't do it alone.

Yeah I’m surprised how many teams are tanking and running out g league rosters for the last month of season given this. Portland, Charlotte, nets, raptors, pistons, memphis all just absolutely brutal. I’ll give spurs credit they are actually trying the last month despite their record and haven’t done anything terrible like shutting down wemby.

I’m glad it’s a lousy draft. I don’t know why San Antonio’s set up for another high pick irritates me as much as it does. But it does. They’ve been insanely fortunate being in the top position to draft three generational players while so many other teams in the last 35 years have been less lucky.  I suppose it’s some leftover Tim Duncan resentment combined with dreading the prospect of an ugly pick swap in 2028.
