Didn't watch the game between the Bucks and the TWolves last night (and don't care to).  Looked at the box score just now.

Giannis: 21 free throw attempts
Entire TWolves team: 13 free throw attempts

TWolves took a few less 3 point attempts than the Bucks.  This disparity is absurd.  I don't see how any objective fan could find such a game enjoyable to watch.
If you didn't watch the game then how can you say it is absurd.

1 player getting 7 more free throws than an entire team on the other side when there is no huge 3pt discrepancy is pretty absurd, no?

but we all know Giannis gets a favorable call. he basically flails his body into guys and gets Ft's same as embiid.

Not a completely unfair point I guess, but having one player take 8 more free throws than the entire opposing team is, I would argue, generally absurd.  I don't care how good that one player is at drawing fouls.

Oh it's 1000% absurd. Idk what he is talking about, a majority of people would say the same. Unfortunately that's how Giannis and Embiid get reffed a lot of nights. Hell, imagine if Jokic got this same treatment from refs, he'd be putting up like 40/15 averages lol

Just in general too, I find it laughable how there are nights when Embiid and Giannis only have fewer than 3 fouls. There is absolutely no way they commit less than 3 fouls/infractions a game. Give me a break with that.

Dwight Howard once had 22 more FTA than the other team (and another game with 20 more).  I didn't see those games either so I have no idea of it was absurd either. Absurdity implies it shouldn't be possible and unless you saw the game you have really no way to know that.

Same with LeBron, who in 1,753 career games (regular and postseason) has fouled out a grand total of 8 times (6 regular season, 2 postseason). Ridiculous.

Tatum in 493 regular season games has fouled out 1 time. He has done it 2 times in 94 playoff games.

Is it ridiculous for Tatum who fouls out less often than Lebron in the regular season?  Or is it only ridiculous when it isn't a Celtic?

Two sore loser incidents last night - Schroder pushing Mike Conley after Conley took a 3 with 24 sec left and the Wolves up 12, and Miles Bridges took exception to Quinones scoring a layup with 12 seconds to go and the Dubs up 9. GWill was ejected in this game for coming in after Wifebeater Miles tried beating on Quinones, Quinones and GWill (who the announcer called "an agitator") were ejected but the wifebeater who started it wasn't.

Anyway, the point is that both incidents were sparked by the losing team taking offense to being scored on when they had "quit playing" because they knew they lost, and didn't like being scored on. Since they quit playing already, they expected the other team to do the same. Unwritten rule being violated and all that, their honor being besmirched.

I always find it hilarious when losing players do this...they had all game to stop the other team scoring, they couldn't so they expect the other team to stop scoring just because they decided to stop defending, and if the other team doesn't they get cut up. These are professional basketball players making millions to do this job

Considering how stat-conscious he was, it shouldn't be terribly surprising.

I mean the best players are the best players for a reason. They don't foul like the lesser players.

Right now, the play-in matchups in the West are Suns-Kings, Warriors-Lakers

Sign me the hell up for both of them
