It is entertaining. Both should be ashamed of themselves, but I'm sure neither is

For sure.  I like it when there's legit beef between opponents.  Like Eagles-Niners yesterday.

Udoka once again showing that he is unable to control himself. Rockets are now under .500 this season. Glad the C’s moved on from him.

Was there no game yesterday? I find that quite odd... no game on a Sunday?

Correct.  Because the in-season tournament is starting today, they blocked off yesterday in the calendar so that no team might have to play a back-to-back entering the quarterfinals.

That makes sense, thanks.

I can't believe this is not more of a narrative around Udoka. If the Celtics didn't pull off a miraculous turnaround based on Joe's defensive planning and Rob Williams's and Marcus Smart's once-in-a-lifetime stroke of simultaneous good health, Udoka would have been fired in a year, maybe two. He was constantly a distraction, calling out players dramatically and often by name in press conferences, and his offense was stagnant and "more of the same" your turn-my turn. Getting ejected for continuously calling the Lakers b*tches and calling LeBron a "little boy" is immature and distracting from the Rockets' recent 2-6 performance in their 8 most recent games.

The Rockets are 20th in offensive rating, 6th in defensive. Credit to him for the defensive focus, but Udoks is a solid defensive coach who crafts mediocre offenses and can't help but be a distraction.

Eh, I'm not willing to judge a coach for only having success on one side of the floor until they've had the same team for at least 2 years in a row. Setting the tone on one side of the ball when you come in makes sense to me, you can focus more on the other side of the ball in year two. Especially if you're coming into a young and/or undisciplined team, or it's one of your first head coaching gigs.

That said, I think the team made the right decision in moving on from him. Whether they chose the right person to move on to... I'm still not so sure about that.
I'm bitter.

What was said before both men each got a technical. As it was Udoka’s second, he was tossed from the game.

Although I 100% agree with Udoka in regards to LeBron’s complaining, I thought for an NBA head coach, he behaved childishly.

Udoka acting like a kid. Lebron, JT, Lowrie, and about 100 other NBA players complain every night. No one loves to see it. Udoka sounds like an idiot in this case, imo.   I also like that Lebron called him on the use of the B word. The use of it was essentially to say that he’s acting like a woman - alluding to women being B’s. Tell me if my interpretation is incorrect.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I side with Lebron on this. He did respectfully ask Ime to not use the "B" word and then Ime responded by using it again and acting like a jerk about it. Like someone mentioned above, Ime acted childish in this instance. Yeah Lebron and the Lakers were complaining but what team isn't?? Tbh even the Celtics do sometimes too regarding the refs and such.

I see people online loving the beef, which is fine if you're into that stuff but it's not like Lebron really instigated anything either. It was Udoka.
