I wondered if there would be a few really, really bad teams this year. It's a zero sum game. If top teams get better, some teams have to lose more.

I just didn't expect it to be SA. I also thought Det may be better.

I’m not too surprised about San Antonio — they were making rebuild moves all summer.  But Detroit is worse than last year, with mostly the same set of young players but a year more experience.  I thought they might make a run at the 10 seed, but nope.

I feel like I’m living in bizarro world. How can you have a tournament team with players that only played 1 or 2 games? There are people on Reddit unironically claiming that Lebron now has 4 1/2 Titles and how that compares to Jordan’s 6 Titles. It’s lunacy

They already comparing him to Jordan, stating that LeBron has far surpassed Jordan and even has a tournament ring to it while MJ doesn't lolol

The Los Angeles Lakers will unveil a unique NBA In-Season Tournament banner to honor their 2023 IST championship. It will be a single forever banner hung on Dec. 18, where future dates will be added should the franchise win additional IST titles in future.

The Lakers‘ new banner for their home arena will be a different shape and color than the existing NBA championship banners to make it distinct. The team wants to honor the moment but recognizes its distinction among titles.

Man, this IST stuff is ridiculous.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

And this is why I don't take Lakers fans, LeBron fans, or the national media seriously.

Bucks again in a nail biter against Chicago at home. Going to OT yet again. Not a good look that they’re constantly in close games against bad teams.

And Chicago doesn’t have Lavine or Caruso tonight.
