What risk? Brown is about to get a supermax. Bridges should be close in production, be a better fit and will be on a much better contract. Brown can't get the supermax if he is traded so he'd be a potential 1-year rental for them. Brooklyn would be the one assuming the risk.
You don't think given up the more established star with playoff experience is a risk? I do. It is easy to put up a crap ton of points on a bad team and Brooklyn was a middling team last year. So I disagree, Brooklyn is getting a two time all star, an all NBA player for a guy who has made an all defensive team once.

So let's be clear Brown is the best player in this trade, he has more awards which indicates he is better regarded in this league. The Risk is on us.
