Here's a tracker for summer league / training camp / two-way contracts:

https://clutchpoints.com/nba-draft-2023-undrafted-free-agent-signings-tracker

So we’ve added Vincent Valerio-Bodon.  He’s a 6-10 wing from Hungary.  Here’s a write up.

Never heard of him. Love it

Interesting highlight reel. Jumpshot reminds me of Carmelo Anthony. Good SL signing.

I thought he had a Tatum like game.

I’mexcited to see JD Davison’s progress. If you look good in SL, you’re probably not seeing any minutes anytime soon. If you look dominant in SL, you are probably good enough to be in someone’s rotation. Hoping for the latter!

I'm hoping to watch JD just tear up the Summer League. I want to see an improved shot and a low turnover rate.

I just want to make sure we resign him first.  I’m very nervous something will go wrong there.

I'm excited to see JD play because I believe he's as good as Scoot!

CFAN38 stated (another thread), last year in the G-League:

Scoot: 19ppg 7.6ast 4.1TO 27% on 3.1 3PA 76% from FT 7.6rb 19 years old

JD: 14.4ppg 10ast 3.3TO 31% on 2.8 3PA 73% from FT 4.8rb 20 years old

In the recruiting process:

Scoot was a 5-star prospect out of GA, #2 PG in the class, #13 overall.

Davison was a 5-star recruit out of AL and the #3 PG in the class, #17 overall.

I think JD can be just as good as Scoot and Brad stole him at 53!

I see Scoot as a combo guard that can't shoot and JD as a pure point that can't shoot. Both have some work to do.

I love the excitement, and would love it if you were right.

I'm not here to say that I've watched every Scoot game. I have seen enough, however, to think that Scoot is a physical, explosive guard. A bigger version of Ja. I haven't seen that comp for Davison anywhere.

Looking at the draft this year, Davison does look fair value at a mid first to late first round pick.

After Cason Wallace, Davison would be the next best PG prospect in the draft. As an overall guard prospect, I'd rate Davison above all those undersized tweener SGs.

So we are talking about someone that looks very solid relative to many mid to late first round picks. Great value 1 year on from being drafted late in the 2nd round.

And also why I think it is time to bring him up to the main team and give him a legitimate role (3rd string PG). Just as I would for any other mid first round pick. It is time for him to play.

The Polish dude looks better the more I look at his game film. Skilled but maybe still maybe a little plodding for the NBA.
