Smart at the podium talking about how proud he is of this team. SMH. Get him out of here.

We need guys who HATE to lose.

Don’t think this team could beat Denver. Just too inconsistent.

So mad that the White game winner is now useless

White, Timelord and Tatum deserved so much better from this team

I’m fine keeping Horford around, but everyone else besides those 4 can be made expendable if needed. That definitely includes Smart and Brown

Barkley's halftime comments tonight were hilarious and spot on. Gotta watch.

I’m disappointed but oddly relieved. This team is so exhausting to follow
Yep. I have some of that too.

Similar to that Kyrie year - both seasons of wasted opportunities. Real chances to win titles blighted by a failure to work together. Not enough discipline. Not enough teamwork. Not enough focus.

High levels of frustration.

I get recency bias and all that, but I feel like some people are retconning a bit.

We started out the season with a scandal that could've really blew up our locker room but it didn't. We sidelined a coach all the players loved with little warning or insight provided by management and its clear a lot of the players didn't agree with it (for the record, the team had to hold Ime accountable). This thing had potential to be a real dumpster fire. Still came out firing and was the #1 seed for most of the season. Most folks were happy as clams to start.

These guys really don’t seem disappointed or “hurt” that they lost tonight. Acting like it’s nothing and that it was just a bad night and they can just move on to next season. Ugh.

What an embarrassing performance in a home Game 7. We’ve lost a handful of tough Game 7s or elimination games at home but I can’t remember one where we had the talent but looked this pathetic for most of the night. At least those mid-2010s Celtics, despite having minimal talent fought hard against Lebron-teams and we appreciated that.

What’s this team’s excuse? Coach? Refs? Come on…  ::)

The only guy in my keep pile is Tatum.

I have 3 groups though. A keep pile, an open to moving and a time to move on pile.

Keep

Tatum

I'd probably keep Hauser due to low cost contract & B Griffin as an end of bench energy guy.

Open to moving

Jaylen
Horford (old age)
Timelord (injury proneness)
D White
Smart
Brogdon
Gallo
G Will (if cost is too high)
Muscala

Time to Move On

Pritchard
Kornet

After a season like this, there isn't much security for anyone not named Jayson Tatum. Everything is on the table. Nothing is off the table. Not Jaylen. Not D White. Not Timelord or Horford. Everything is on the table.

Assess the opportunities. Pick the best direction -- which could be anything from several moves, 1-2 moves or bring it back again next year due to lack of quality alternate paths.

Tatum played all year with a bad wrist/thumb. Played this game on one leg. Dude is tough.

He’s your alpha.

No doubt.

It’s also painfully obvious how bad our offense looks without him on the court. He just makes things easier for everyone around him as well. We saw how much of a disaster it was with Jaylen

They’re all under 28. They may want to win a title but deep down they know they have time to eventually get one. A guy like Butler knows this might be his last chance. The sad truth is this may be the next KD Thunder.

The fractured wrist goes back to last season. He reinjured it earlier this season. So really, its 2 seasons of him playing with a messed wrist. Still refused to be load-managed.

Dude's a baller.

It's hard to believe the entire Celtics organization bought in to this 3-point fantasy approach.
