Our defense has been abysmal, Horford can't guard a chair, and yet Timelord languishes on the bench. Why? Because he doesn't brick 3's with the rest of the guys? It's not like we couldn't use his momentum-changing blocks and hustle plays. Nah.

Joe is an idiot and should be fired TODAY.

Muscala could also play. He can shoot and play as much D as Horford's been playing.

Mike muscala is the answer!

My god.

Down 0-3...yeah lets not do anything different. Surely AL will show us how elite of a shooter is in game 4.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

It's amazing.  We're going to get swept by the #8 seed that is missing three of its rotation players.

My, how far we’ve fallen.

What a difference 11 months has made.  A finals appearance added to a long playoff resume.  Unfinished business.  Adding MB.  Healthy RW.  This season and the future looked so bright.

Now?  We’re about to be swept by an 8th seed that barely made the playin.  We’ve taken a step back, we’re not as good as we were last year.  We lost our gritty, defensive identity.  2 All Nba players.

…and all of our warts have been magnified!!  And difficult decisions will need to be made.

From 2 wins away from #18 to about to hit the detonation button.

Ooof!

Fearful ...................... that ownership/management will not make the necessary changes to fix this team.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Guys who can stay: Jayson Tatum, Malcolm Brogdon, Timelord, Mike Muscala

Guys who can go: Joe Mazzulla, Marcus Smart, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown, Derrick "I am only good before earning the all-defense team accolade" White, Grant Williams, Payton Pritchard, and very soon Brad Stevens

Team needs to be reshaped and retooled. Time for some new blood and new vision.

Not really sure how you decide which players  “stay”

Malcolm Brogdon? Timelord? Mike freaking Muscala?
Brogdon scored 0 points last night and earns 23 million dollars a year. Timelord absolutely fell off a cliff this year, huge reason we didn’t take a step forward. Muscala really?

Oh yeah but get rid of Jaylen brown and Derrick white.  Our 2nd and 3rd best players. Love that.

Muscala was rotting at the bench due to coaching decisions but I wanna give him a chance. Timelord is injury prone so that is why we need another big to complement alongside him, but when healthy he's solid. Brogdon does what he needs to do as a 6th man, but he's been more beneficial/impactful than Smart for the most part. I won't let one bad game from Brogdon change my view, his last 10 games has been great.

But OK let's keep Brown who's had a career of poor ball handling skills costing us NBA finals games and other playoff games. Brown has been here for what 6-7 years and he's never improved on his handles, how can we trust him with the ball? And just lacks BBIQ. Derrick White who went cold in some of these playoff games and getting beat on defense recently, all-defense 2nd team lol.

Just wish we can stick with traditional bigs who can just score in the post more versus lazy out taking 3s and chucking em. But alas, philosophy doesn't match Joe's.

Not sure how Derrick White deserves shot given how well he has played this series. Not his fault the coach has benched him

White is one of the few who has done a decent job at defending Butler. I do wish he was more assertive on offense, but in the-take-turns-to-go-iso style we won't see the best of him.

Brogdon can kick rocks, I’ll take Derrick white over him any day.

same. need a bih who can take over down low and score, play D and rebound. timelord has no post game, no three point shot, no 18 foot jumper. he can do put backs and blocks and rebounds. he needs an offensive game badly.
