If it’s vs the Lakers then I’ll root for him. If it’s against Denver then I wouldn’t care less whoever wins the crown. Am still hoping for a major miracle though. Celtics are a good road team after all.

We do not just refuse to double Jimmy. We leave G Will out on an island against him. MIA clearing out half the court and letting Jimmy work G Will one-on-one.

Whoever you are. You give an NBA player, a top NBA player, that much time and room to attack a defender = they will score the basketball more often than not.

You can't give Jimmy that much space and time to work. If he can dribble the ball 10 times and nobody comes to help, that is a defensive breakdown.

The thing about those types of clearouts is that they are so easy to double over / zone up on. Send a soft double where Grant can direct it to a help defender stationed near the paint. If Jimmy passes, it is a 4 on 3 on the weakside. The 3 defenders can cover the first and second rotations / first second passes no problem. The help defender can recover by the 3rd pass. Easy to stop an advantage from being gained.
