Reaves so worried about Jokic blocking his shot, he never even saw Braun sneaking over to block him.

Awful miss by Braun on the tap in. Bad miss on the wide open corner 3 by Braun a few possessions earlier.

DEN's bench still a big question mark outside of Bruce Brown.

Jokic looked scared there. AD trying to block his shot from the front, Vanderbilt from the back. Jokic bailed out by the foul.

Was a very clear foul. You think a guy coming off one of the best playoff games in nba history is scared? That’s some sort of take

An unathletic big surrounded by two highly athletic bigs? Yeah, he looked unsure he could get his shot off. He was hesitating. He was scared. LAL bailed him out with a bad foul.

I would say jokic is one of the most fearless players in the league and eve if he gets his shot blocked he has routinely gotten the offensive rebound and scored throughout the season. So I think this is a very strange take. Also jokic towers over vanderbilt so he is pretty irrelevant here.

Refs really giving the lakers a favorable whistle so far just shoved jokic with two hands hard and no call.

I like LAL running these PnR opportunities with D Russell while LeBron rests. Russell can get lost in the offense with LeBron acting as the playmaker. Good to give him some opportunities while LeBron is out. Get Russell in rhythm. Build some confidence / flow.

Davis without a field goal in first quarter despite playing whole quarter. Looks a bit intimidated by jokic

Hachimura 5-5 FG in 5min. He was 8-11 FG in Gm 1.

That guy is on fire right now. Either that or he just really likes playing the Nuggets for some reason.

I am glad the Nuggets win, for all the reasons we all know.  But it was pretty iffy at the end of the game.  I have no great confidence that Denver will take the series when they tried to give this game away in the last 5 minutes.

Lot of weird takes for a game that the lakers never even tied and the nuggets led wire to wire. Would have been cool if they hit an extra Bucket in the 4th but this was a wire to wire win. Can’t worry about it too much.

Well how is it a weird take?  The Nuggets are up 20 with 3 min left in the 3rd and then by 2 min left in the 4th they are only up 3 and the Lakers have the ball trying to cut to 1 or tie.  If this happened to the C's we would all be complaining how we almost blew another huge lead.  It just felt like the Lakers figured some stuff out in the 2nd half, and the Nuggets were pretty fortunate to get that win.

To be clear I wasn’t just referencing your post, although that was the one I responded to so I apologize if it came off like I was singling you out. It’s just the nuggets never even lost the lead. 85% of games in the playoff a team makes a run and gets within 3-5 points. That was true for every game we had against Philly except the final game I think. I believe it happened in all the suns nuggets games except the last one also. A wire to wire win in the playoffs is not very common and I think should be appreciated a bit more.

Hey celticsclay I didn’t think you were singling me out I just didn’t understand your take.  No worries man.  👍

That paint is wide open without Jokic in there.

LeBron taking advantage.

Jesus. 2nd time in a row. They are overplaying the screener Lonnie Walker and giving LeBron a running start to the rim with no shot-blockers on the floor.

How in the world is that a good idea?

Make Lonnie make some shots.
