The drop coverage just completely ruin s our defensive plan. Even if the picker doesn't hit the shot, it allows the ball handler all of the room in the world to operate and set up the play.

Just more complete failure by the coaching staff to recognize this and make the adjustment. They're just abusing our bigs every time with this dang extreme drop coverage.

The Philly run is a direct result of an adjustment where the Celtics don't use drop coverage. They're doubling and going over the screen, allowing Philly to penetrate and dish more. The threes are still raining (credit to Philly), but it's not for the same reason as Q1.

Celts had 40 points in the paint in the first half. We're seeing why 3 > 2 (why the Suns lost Game 1) and a great vindication of Joe's usual offensive focus.

TLDR: Everyone will cool off. Adjustments are being made. Both teams are just making crazy shots.

we we are having almost a record setting FG%, being up by 3 is a poor outcome.
We gotta start getting some stops, Philly is getting anything they want.  wide open 3s, easy short mid range shots.
defend!!!

Typical Cs performance cs a team missing their best player. No defense. Too many turnovers. They are shooting almost 70% and a 4 pt game. The moment Cs go cold, Philly will blow them out.

I mean there's a chance philly could go cold too....

I've considered that.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Let Philly have every shot that’s not a 3. It’s the only thing that can keep them in the game.

Defense is just putrid. This should be a 15 point lead.

Fair enough. I think it's a lot more likely they start missing 3's than us missing easy layups.

We're shooting 74%, 57% from 3PT, we have more rebounds and more FTs...  and we're up by 3.

Tatum Brown and Brogdon are the only people shooting and scoring

Like 8 turnovers by Boston.
Not a lick of defense played.

Harden and melton hitting every wide open three.

I miss the defense they played last season

Wow. Reggie Miller really is atrocious. Talk about adding nothing of substance to the broadcast. I miss Mike and Scal already.
