Brogdon should have been in the game in at least the last three minutes, in place of Smart. The problem is, Smart's ego would never allow it to happen.

Where was Malcom in the 4th?? We had 2 put Smart back in? Promptly turns it over twice and make an absolutely stupid foul — you don’t even put yourself in that position. Malcom wouldn’t have done that

I've just about had it with the notion that Smart needs to be our "3rd guy" and someone who starts due to his "hustle/winning plays".  White and Brogdon are better, period. Smart has made so many dumb plays this season too and now he probably cost us a playoff game as well

Agree. Start Brogdon and White - great backcourt, playmakers, smart, always look for the right play.

Put Smart and Grant (if you ain't gonna play him) into a trade package and get a quality return - maybe a big, strong rebounder.

I’m sorry but this group is the most mentally fragile group ever.  Can’t take care of big leads and just make horrible turnovers and bonehead plays in crunch time.  Smart lost this game for us.  One stupid play after another.

We take a 13 point lead starting the 3rd and start CHUCKING 3 pointers...Instead of taking things seriously and go up 20+.....WEAK No Title Team....we got ZERO excuses, other than Marcus Smart SUCKS.

All we hear is how good and talented this Celtics team is and how bad the hawks are and this shouldn’t be even remotely competitive series, yet here we are in an extremely competitive series and you’re on here making excuses for them?

I don't feel like this is a competitive series ... I feel more like the team is behaving like a child playing with its food instead of eating it.

BOS is not playing seriously enough and they are giving ATL an opening and ATL took advantage. Well done ATL. But if BOS's players play with focus and effort, this series is over. They are vastly more talented than ATL. This is about their lack of discipline / maturity rather than their lack of talent.
