So will Jimmy Butler get any criticism from the media, or will he get a pass as usual?

I swear the media talk about him is becoming ridiculous. And I love Butler and his fight, but man... Michael Jordan? "HOF-talent"? Come on...  ::)

If this were Embiid, Tatum, Doncic, AD, etc. in this position (losing a series in 5 where they were mediocre multiple games) they'd be getting absolutely shredded

This series was a big indictment on the C's. The mentality matched the talent and it really wasn't all that close.

Jimmy B was "hobbled" so he'll get a pass as usual. And his team was an 8th seed so they'll discount them.  ::)

I am glad the Nuggets won.  But I am on the fence with the 'nuggets nation' thing is umm lol, it reminds me of chicken nuggets.

Jokic was awesome with 12-16 FG 3-5 FT and 4 TOs for 28pts. So 28pts on 22 poss. 127pts per 100poss.

The rest of the Nuggets were only 26-68 FG 10-18 FT with 10 TOs. Fairly low TOs except for J Murray who had 6 TOs. Lot of FTs compared to how few Jimmy's teammates got. But only 66pts on 87poss for a 76pts per 100poss.

So MIA had 78pts per 100poss in Jimmy's supporting cast while Jimmy was only 87.5pts per 100poss. You could make the claim here that the difference between Jimmy and Jokic in terms of their own individual scoring was the difference in the game.

Also, that Jimmy was more efficient than both his own teamamtes and Jokic's teammates. He just wasn't as efficient as Jokic.

Jimmy is definitely a HoFer. He just led his team to 2 Finals. Very few guys have done that.

This is just another day at the office for Jokic. That's pretty scary for the league.  :-\

Ah, I am a bit sad. I was hoping MIA could get another win and extend the series.

I  was for Denver but not caring a lot wanted to see 7  baseball has become so boring to watch

Yeah, I wanted DEN to win the series too. I was just hoping for another game!

Plus, I would've liked MIA to get another one. They played their hearts out. They just didn't have the talent. Gotta love their effort.

So was this Jimmy’s last chance with Miami?
Probably. I am amazed he got this chance.

Hard to see them getting back here. Bam, on the other hand, could get another chance. He is young enough to be on the next Heat contender post-Jimmy Butler. I hope he does. I love the way Bam plays.

it would be great to get an awesome center like Jokic, but I would be happy if the C's could get two high level veterans like Bruce Brown, and Caldwell-Pope.  We need some tough role players to pair with the C's.

A tough as shoe leather steak would be great as well

So much for Herro being available lol

He was never coming back. Miami was just playing mind games with the opponent about him
