At least the Nuggets and Suns are playing defense tonight. 42-40 halftime score is old school
Are they playing defense or just shooting like crap?  Both teams are 23% from 3.

Jokic's passing is a joy to watch.

4th quarter and both teams are in the 70s?? Looks like some 2010 NBA Finals-type defense

Why is Jokic taking a step back and a fadeaway against Damion Lee? Damion Lee ain't blocking your shot. Just go straight up. You took a shot that was about 5 feet longer and tougher than it needed to be.

Ayton is such an underrated defender. Great D on Jokic.

Does Kevin Durant do anything other than go 1-on-1? He does know he can the pass the ball out of isos / drives, right?

He is freezing out all his teammates playing 1 on 5. Use your teammates. You are better together than apart. It is not that Durant can't get it done, it is that he is playing 1 on 5. You gotta move the ball and get others involved.

How bad is the Chris Paul injury?

He wasn't able to finish the game. Do they expect him back soon or is more serious? Is he out for the series?

They are not reporting anything specific yet this morning, but wow, it was a close game until Paul went out and then DEN runs away with the 4th quarter.  Durant and Booker play 44 and 45 min.  That Denver not good enough to win in the playoffs defense holds PHX to 87 points.

I am going purely by the box score, I didn't see any of the game, but Caldwell-Pope was 4-4 from 3 for DEN but the rest of the team was 3-23, for an overall 26% from 3.  Of course PHX was only 20% from 3.  Must be that thin air in Denver.

PHX is in trouble.  They don't have any depth at all anyway.  If they lose Chris Paul, that will be crippling.

For the MIA-NYK game, Randle, Brunson, and Butler are all listed as questionable, all with sore ankles.

I found this interesting:

Quote
Key for Warriors-Lakers series... how will they play when Anthony Davis and Steph Curry are on the bench?

Lakers +/- with and without AD vs. Memphis:

With: +69
Without: -24

Warriors +/- with and without Steph vs. Sacramento:

With: +58
Without: -43

Probably the strongest #8 seed we've ever seen.

Sure. In my lifetime I’d go 98 knicks or 06 warriors but yeah this same heat team finished with the #1 seed last year.

The Heat doing their best Celtics impression with that late game defensive rebounding.
