So, could this spell the end of the Bucks' dominance in the East? THey'll most likely lose Middleton and Jrue. They can keep Giannis but maybe their supporting cast gets weaker and weaker. Unless they somehow pick up Damian Lillard

Credit to Miami for the upset(on paper)

However....

Milwaukee was a paper tiger. There's a reason we destroyed them twice this season.
They'll be a tough out, but we match up.much better with them than Milwaukee.

I hope tatum is watching Butler and understanding the mentality it takes to.life your team.

So, we all know the excuse this year for Bucks fans will be that Giannis missed two of the games and only played part of the other. Yet, they were actually worse in the three games he played (0-3) vs the two games he didn't play in (1-1).

But I do think this puts a bit of damper on Giannis' legacy, or at least reputation for the foreseeable future. If your a superstar level player who's afraid to touch the ball in tight games due to your free throw weakness, that's a pretty big limitation. But his overall limitations as an offensive player were highlighted this series.

Is Ime now kicking himself in the butt given that there's very likely to be a Milwaukee opening now? Not like he could've known, but you have to think that he'd prefer coaching Milwaukee over Houston.

And I could see Milwaukee taking the chance on Ime given their needs and how far along they are. He'd be scary in Milwaukee, though they still need some offensive pieces to truly be a juggernaut.

Isn't Giannis and Bud close? If they fire him that might be the first domino in his eventually wanting out.

Giannis could think about going West. Maybe he can team up with Domantas Sabonis, Malik Monk, and De'Aaron Fox. Or...the miserable Anthony Davis and Austin Reeves once LeBron is gone.  :-X

That's why I've been saying I'm ecstatic ime took the Houston job because I was figuring Milwaukee and Philly will be looking forward for a coach.

The Bucks traded five second round picks for Jae Crowder, who played only three games and 40 total minutes all series. What a whiff.

Hilarious.

Richard Jefferson also getting roasted on Twitter after his "big gap between Bucks and rest of NBA" comments.

So many NBA heads (including KOC) kept pushing that Bucks favorites narrative when they kept showing they had problems defending wings once again. They put so much stock into Giannis that it warps their brains.

Like with all due respect Moranis has made a cottage industry about saying the bucks were the best team and we only beat them in the playoffs cause Middleton was injured. Like literally 500 posts. I’m foolish enough to hope for a little humility on that cause Middleton is not that good. Maybe a signature add?

What was their dominance exactly? One finals trip that they won?

Come to think of it, New York Knicks will have home-court advantage over the Miami Heat next round since it is gonna be a 5 vs 8 matchup. A 5-seed having home-court. I can't recall when the last time that happened where the lower four seeds having that, besides our 2012 4/5 matchup between Celtics/Hawks.

Who'd would've thunk.

What a wild and weird playoffs this has been and pretty sure the Hawks are pretty dang confident atm knowing that 2 of the higher seeds have gone down and with Murray back they feel good about themselves.

WTH happened to the Bucks woth that brainfart collapse of epic proportions beating out our collapse in G5...heck they couldnt even take a final shot with 9 sec given to them.

And out West the Warriors sure are lookin like they will also advance and if they do and the Grizzlies also fall short in Lala land, then this has got to be the most bizarre playoffs that i can recall where top seeds and HCA dont even matter.

The Heat are going to be a problem, should the Celtics last long enough to face them. They play defense like we all wish the C's would. And they have Butler. And they have a much better coach than we do.

Them and the Knicks will be a great series, but Butler will wind up being the difference.

The difference is our offense is vastly more dynamic and explosive than Milwaukee’s. We can also guard on the perimeter unlike Milwaukee.

Really??
We cant even contain Trae atm and i recall the Hawks were shooting lights out in the perimeter and we couldnt stop Hunter, Murray and Trae.
The only way we have been beating them was out shoot them which on the two losses that we had we couldnt even do because Tatum couldnt find the bottom of the net if his life depended on it with that paltry 1 for 10 shooting from three.
