Nuggets looking very good. They look like a 1 seed so far

Kat has been very poor for Minn.  11 points the first game, 3 fouls and 2 points so far in this game.
Kat has to be better than that.  He is a all-star level player and he just isn't doing enough.

Minn with a huge run to get the lead at Denver.  Anthony Edwards pretty much an unstoppable scoring machine in the 3rd.

Towns completely folding again.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

what a shootout down the stretch between Murray and Edwards...both ended up with over 40.
Just back and forth just sweet playoff goodness.

Denver don't look all that scary. I think Clippers can do quick work of them.

I think Townes and Gobert are actually limiting each other instead of being complimentary. Maybe they try to get rid of one (or both) in the off season and really build on Edwards as their main guy.

Dillon Brooks dogging LeBum during and after the game  :police:

Quote
Brooks, who has earned a reputation as one of the league's elite wing defenders and most relentless antagonists, said James told him he was "dumb" for having picked up his fourth foul and barked back at him.

"I don't care -- he's old. You know what I mean?" Brooks said of the 38-year-old James. "I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that Game 4, Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on. But I poke bears. I don't respect no one until they come and give me 40."

James, who had 28 points on 12-of-23 shooting and 12 rebounds in the loss, had finished his postgame media session before Brooks' began.

The only player to score 40 against the Grizzlies in a game Brooks played this season was the Portland Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard.

"I said, 'Oh, finally you want to talk,'" Brooks said, wearing a plaid jacket with no shirt underneath, a chain with a large "DB" medallion and his customary designer sunglasses as he addressed reporters in the FedExForum home locker room. "Then we started to get into a conversation. I just let him know that, 'You can't take me one-on-one. You haven't.' You go look at the film; he doesn't really take me one-on-one until that moment.

"Then when he got subbed out, he was tired. So I did my job."

Unless Dillon Brooks was guarding Anthony Davis, I don't want to hear anything about his defense.  He let that "old man" shoot over 50% and get a 28 point 12 rebound game against him.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

The old man was a team worst -17, his defense was awful and his team lost by double digit by a team missing its best player and two key rotation players. I know it hurts you to see, but brooks can run his mouth all he wants after this one.

And yes brooks is absolutely correct Lebron got tired and didn’t have the energy to drive on him which is why he resorted to dead legged pull up 3’s on which he went 1-8. Yes, Davis deserves a lot of blame for his play but it is absolutely absurd to point at lebrons counting stats and act like he had a good game. It’s incredible he can still score but he can’t play defense and score and his -17 is pretty darning.

Brooks hit two timely 3s, one of them to essentially put the game out of reach for the Lakers, with Lebron "defending" him from about 8ft away. It was a sorry display of playoff intensity.

Seemed like the Lakers were happy with the split, their stars didn't give much effort.

Anytime a player opposes LeBron James I'm in support of that player.

Dillon Brooks, keep on keeping up! Knock down LBJ hard and prevent him from putting up big shots!

Man… I almost find myself rooting for the Lakers.

At least to beat Memphis.

Then they can go ahead and lose.

Pretty sure I know the answer to this question: does the nba use a strict bracket for the playoffs?  If Miami beats Milwaukee they don’t reseed, right?  They’d still get the winner of NY / CLE?
