Even with Giannis out, it took a near-perfect offensive game for Miami to beat them.  So I don’t see them actually winning the series.  But if the Heat want to drag them into the mud for six or seven games, I’m all for it.

How bad is Gianni's injury? Lower back contusion.

I mean ive hurt my lower back before and could barely walk let alone play an NBA game. Especially considering Gianni's game is all running into the paint and bowling into people.

This could look like Celtics/Bucks 2019, where the C's went into Milwaukee and stole Game 1 before losing four straight. But ofc, that's the series where Kyrie quit on the C's.

The calm before the storm. Still have Milwaukee in 5.

Looked a lot like a broken tail bone.

Silly to hear media folks think the moment that Giannis suffered the lower back contusion the Boston Celtics "won" the Eastern Conference.

C's still haven't even played game 2 yet in the first-round, nevermind the East Semis yet. Still a long ways to go.

This Suns/Clippers series is going to be fun…  :)

Might not be broken, but a bruise or pulled muscle in your lower back is killer.

So tired of seeing that clown Haslem waive his pom poms on the sideline. The free rides almost over for that hanger onner. He's been the NBA's highest paid cheerleader for about half a decade now.

Me too. The guy hasn't been useful on the court since 2014-15. That is 8 years ago!!!

It is insane he has been kept on that roster all this time to be a good voice in the locker room. 8 years!

So in one day, Ja Morant, Giannis, and Herro all go out with serious injuries. Tough day for the NBA.

Can you blame the play-in?  Morant and Giannis with a week off, and Miami playing every other day in elimination games.  Probably not the best for the body in either situation.
