Still giving up way too many offensive rebounds. Ridiculous.

liked that Tatum took that all the way for a layup instead of a pull up 3

It was a crappy finish to the half... until they somewhat redeemed themselves.

What a way to finish! That was some high level D by Smart and the rest of the team to end that possession.

Both teams struggling from 3.

Going to need more from Kornet and Musky in the 2nd half.

And open lay ups. We have a 13-0 freethrow differential to kinda compensate for the sloppy play. I hope we breakmthise wide open in the 2nd half.

Tatum with 9rebs at the half. His rebounding skill doesn’t get discussed enough. Leads the team in scoring, rebounding and is second in assists on the season.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Looks like their defensive strategy involves letting Smart open. He needs to make them pay.

Their whole body language and demeanor is different when they are shooting 28% from 3 vs 51% isn't it

Letting their poor offense affect their defense again

Bad shot selection always leads to bad offense.

Improve shot selection - shoot less 3's when you are @ 25%.

Play great defense regardless.

I'm afraid Joe ain't gonna make any of those a consistent part of this team.

Better pray it's from Muscala then. Kornet is hopeless

But I'm sure Mazzulla will decide to play Kornet a ton in the 2nd half  ::)

We're 13-13 from FTs, while Utah hasn't taken any

Why did we even bother acquiring Muscala.
I thought he was supposed to be our post depth behind Horford and RWilliams.
Mazzulla hardly plays the guy.

Idk but it's weird. He definitely played before the ASB, then after that it's like Mazz forgot he existed. Muscala is also someone who typically does his best when in a rhythm and getting some playing time, but he barely gets it here so even when he does come in, I'm not surprised he struggles shooting too

Being traded to a new team mid season isn’t always easy. See Derrick White last year. Things take time.

Yeah, getting a bit of a favorable whistle, though some of that is us just not putting up much resistance at the rim against them.
