we're getting killed on the boards and Joe has Kornet are our only big on the floor.  idiot

I really wouldn’t mind bringing in someone like Boogie just to see if he can get some boards. Our rebounding is pathetic.
this isn't the only time Joe has done this.  I agree, since there's obviously no switching going on, we might as well has a big who's capable of controlling the defensive boards.  only question would be if Boogie could play nice if he's not getting much playing time.

Actually Kornet just played a solid 7 min. with 3 rebs and a block.

Props to JM on putting Luke Kornet in, he has been a game changer, clogging up the lane defensively

Well, I'll give Joe credit and say that the Kornet decision actually seems to be working out for now. He's bigger than the other bigs out there and can get it higher than them. Feels like Houston is so young and athletic that they're able to get those boards over the older and less athletic GWill and Griffin.

Forget what's happened. 8+ minutes left, just outplay them this stretch and get the W

Then again - that's what you give up with Kornet. He simply can't get out to three point shooters.

Kornet overhelped off the corner.  Then Garuba makes another 3.

Not inspiring much confidence at all. Timelord may be out but we're mostly healthy too...

We made a good run with Kornet on the floor, but he is just killing us defensively in the past 3 possessions.

Dang it, Joe. That's three straight times they've made threes on Kornet's lack of mobility and drop coverage or over-helping. Adjust!

We keep cutting it to 2 or 5 points, and HOU scores a quick 4 or 5 after SMH

Our defense is a shell of what it was last year. No rim protection and a perimeter defense that lets every average player into the lane is a recipe for disaster.
