As big of a fan as I am of Smart, I'm getting really frustrated with him. What an awful shot.

But, again, this is just as much on the coaching staff and our awful offensive philosophy. When you literally preach that there is no such thing as a bad open three and don't hold your guys accountable when they take bad shots, this is what happens. Just ridiculous.

Come on, JB. You have to keep your guy in front of you.

JB’s defense has been garbage this year.

This is pathetic.  Contenders just don't lose to the dregs of the NBA.

Apparently the Cs do...

I'll completely admit, even with our issues I thought we'd cruise to an easy win and we'd enjoy the night.

This is such an unserious and flawed team though. UGH

Would it be safe to say that we peaked too early?

I'm not sure that this team is a contender, despite its record.  Hot start, and then decidedly mediocre basketball for about half the season.

I actually think the more concise summation is, this team just can't handle any prosperity

I'm starting to wonder if we're better off being a 2 or 3 seed with the "chip on our shoulder" as opposed to a 1-seed that plays cocky and could be at real risk of being upset 2nd round just from playing like idiots and being overconfident

agreed.  he's not having a great game offensively but he won't kill us like Smart has been doing

Don't like the ATO play by Mazz.  Even if it was a misdirection, why draw up a drive for Smart?  He's been terrible.  Bad sub pattern, bad ATO plays.
