I'm bored, and curious. Hasn't been a great week since the Break though  :(

I ultimately think we get to the ECF but lose to MIL without HCA. They can change my mind but they got to snap out of it FAST (and get healthier, Timelord)

Finals, winning. Just like every year.

Whoever wins Celtics/Bucks is winning the title.

So either ECF loss or Finals win.

Finals - not sure if we win or lose.

It's hard to peg Phoenix just yet because the Durant move is so recent. I feel good about playing Denver. I'd love to see that matchup. I think that would be a great series.

Right now, I'm going to say we still make the ECF.  As of now, I can't see us getting by the Bucks.

I agree with Roy.  Our play since the ASB hasn't inspired confidence.  While we're capable of beating any team in a 7 game series, I can't currently envision us winning 4 out of 7 against the Bucks.  IMO they're the best team in the league.

Whenever they play Milwaukee they will lose.  Consistently my view the entire season and that has not changed.  Milwaukee is just quite simply a better team.

If 100% Rob Williams returns, we will win it all.

If not, I doubt we make it past the 2nd round.

So I'm voting we don't get past the 2nd round, because enough evidence suggests that he won't come back 100%.

Depends on health, as well if Joe can continue to improve in his in-game management.

Feels like it’s mostly a lack of focus/energy (and arrogance) as our main issues lately. Generally, that won’t kill us in the playoffs when locked in, but it makes the journey and process to a title harder.

I’m an optimist so I’m still saying title, but we have to be healthy. Still think we can beat the Bucks regardless of HCA when healthy, and I think whoever wins that series wins the title.

I'm guessing an ECF loss. Celtics are acting like they're all that and can just turn it on in the postseason, but I don't think they're that good. Tatum's 3pt shooting is way off, Grant's been mostly a negative lately, ditto for Smart, and I also believe, firmly, that Rob will be physically hampered the rest of the season, which means little to no interior defense for Boston.

Round 2 or ECF loss.

I’m worried that our inability to stop penetration and protect the rim is an unfixable flaw where this season is concerned.  Our big man rotation has fallen apart, especially on defense.  Definitely something for Brad to address this offseason.  The cost may hurt, but so be it.

We can still make a deep run or even win it all if our offense catches fire again and if Rob and Al have a defensive awakening.  I’m not counting us out.  I just think our defensive dead spells aren’t merely a function of effort.

  • GOT IT!!!
The playoff schedule is shaping up to be a disaster attrition wise. Miami, Philly, Mil, and then Finals? That’s worse than last season.

Yeah the 1 seed gets an easier team (ATL/TOR/WAS), then probably NY/CLE, then MIL with HCA. The 2nd round is probably going to be a bit tough either way, but that's still a much easier path overall than with the 2 seed. Funny enough, the 3 seed might be more enticing facing BKN first round, then PHI (who I still feel confident we'd beat without HCA), and then take your chances with MIL in the ECF.

I know it hasn't clicked for MIA, but my worry is they could find their groove and suddenly their shooters remember how to shoot again. Butler is a playoff beast as is. That would be a brutal 1st round series even with HCA
