Poll: As Of 3/7, How Far Do You Think We Go?

I'm going to say they win it all if they get a groove going again. They are still a good team compared to the rest of the competition.

The playoff schedule is shaping up to be a disaster attrition wise. Miami, Philly, Mil, and then Finals? That’s worse than last season.

Yeah the 1 seed gets an easier team (ATL/TOR/WAS), then probably NY/CLE, then MIL with HCA. The 2nd round is probably going to be a bit tough either way, but that's still a much easier path overall than with the 2 seed. Funny enough, the 3 seed might be more enticing facing BKN first round, then PHI (who I still feel confident we'd beat without HCA), and then take your chances with MIL in the ECF.

I know it hasn't clicked for MIA, but my worry is they could find their groove and suddenly their shooters remember how to shoot again. Butler is a playoff beast as is. That would be a brutal 1st round series even with HCA

All I can say is don't underestimate Eric Spoelstra in the playoffs.

And ECF Game 7 in Milwaukee can be the difference maker. Otherwise...3 seed we can win in Philly.

way too early to gauge at this point.   The two big factors are (1) team health as the obvious primary X factor and (2) how is the team playing going into the playoffs.

based on those 2 X factors and how each could be good or bad, here's my early take:
- Team Health Good, Playing like a top team going into the playoffs: Championship -- we've got the talent to win it all
- Team Health Good, Playing like they are now: second round exit -- when they play like crap like now, anyone can beat them
- Team Health Bad, Playing like a top team: ECF loss -- this assumes we're playing Milwaukee and they're healthy and have the HCA.  I think we'll need all hands on deck to beat Milwaukee if they're healthy
- Team Health Bad, Playing like they are now -- probably second round exit though first round wouldn't surprise me.  infuriate me -- definitely.  Surprise me -- no.

I cannot vote on this out of principle, the jinx factor is too high.  And even if I was a betting man, this would be a tough one to try and predict.  They literally could get hot and win it all or they could stumble and have an early exit.  They have been all over the map all season, individually and collectively.

The team has lots of questions, including a big one regarding the head coach.  But in spite of all the questions, at times, they have been the best team in the league by a fair margin for some decent stretches.  Anything is possible, as a great player once said.

I still think we're able to win the Finals. I think this team's problems are entirely mental. They're a little big jaded right now and just want the playoffs to start already. I think they will be really switched on come playoff time. The important thing now is to make sure we don't have a serious injury trying to chase a seeding.

Look, I know both teams beat us three times, but 5 out of the 6 wins were OT wins when we were missing significant pieces.

I think it’s much, much more likely that we beat either team in 5 or even 4 games than they beat us 4 out of 5 times (assuming relative heakth, that is).

They haven't been healthy but they have the talent to still win games. They just shoot themselves in the foot almost every other night. I'm concerned that may be their shortcoming.

My dad thinks we're still winning the Finals. That makes me feel better (he's usually pretty good at predicting stuff)
