The kid can bring scoring.

Clearly he can score but not sure if he would fit into the Cs switching defense.  They have an open spot, worth a try.

I don't think the Mavs are buying out or waiving Doncic

Good point and it doesn't hurt that he just turned 23.

Might as well get him more involved considering Grant is struggling and TL is probably day to day the rest of his career.

Are the Celtics just trying to save a couple of bucks by not signing a 15th man? That's bush league. The Bucks are stocking up!

Saving money is pretty much the only reason to play with an incomplete roster.

Sadly true... If ownership wants the players to go all out they need to as well! There is no half-assing a championship!

With Timelord missing more time I would think now another big man would be a priority. If only Noel were still available...

I’d sign him just for future potential.  If we can sign him for non guaranteed money for next year.  See how he does in practice this year and next training camp.

Still, I wish we had signed a veteran for that 15th spot, ideally a wing.

In Las Vegas Samanic averaged 16.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per game white shooting 36.8% from 3 and 51.3% overall.

Team sources have indicated that the Jazz are willing to give Samanic a chance this season and that there’s a real shot of him being on the roster this season. His age, height, length and untapped potential are all things that intrigue the Jazz.

I still don't understand why we chose Champagnie over this guy.  I openly preferred a more NBA ready guy than Luka for the roster spot, but if it was going to be wasted on a dumpster dive, why not gamble on the guy who 1) was a first rounder; 2) performed extremely well in the G-league; 3) has some actual NBA skills, although he still needs development?

I believe his contract became $400k guaranteed since he wasn't waived yesterday.  Good for him.
