As a fan, how do you approach games like tonight?

My constant concern with the Celtics, though, is that they'll still have a significant injury report come playoff time. Just about every recent Celtics postseason has been hampered by an injury.

So, tonight we look heavily outmatched against the Bucks, primarily due to injuries.  Under healthier circumstances, this would be a "must watch" game.

But tonight, I don't really have any intention of tuning in at tip-off.  I expect us to get creamed, and there's nothing even a little enjoyable about seeing a key rival beat up on our bench. 

That said, the "hospital Celtics" have stepped up before, so I'm not necessarily counting us out.  I'll monitor the game online, and if we're within striking distance, I'll watch.

What's your plan?  And more generally, on nights when the Celts are getting blown out, do you tune out?

I loved how they played tonight.  It builds on the interchangeability of the team.  They looked very committed to just running their offense no matter who was out there and confident that it would work.  They also busted tail on defense.  Solid effort, but still a tough way to end it.

If only the team played team ball with hard effort on D like they did tonight whenever Jaylen is on the floor, instead of when he’s off the floor…if we always played this hard, we’d be the defending champs.

If they win this type of game, that's awesome. If they get blown out, that's understandable, given all the absences. What would kind of annoy me is if the Cs manage to stay in it all the way until the last minute and then lose—I hate being teased, LOL.

And I almost never watch highlights of a loss.

So, yeah, the entire premise of this thread turned out to be silly.  I tuned in about four minutes after tip off, and watched the entire thing.  Amazing game, amazing effort.  It hurt that it was Jrue that killed us; he's my favorite non-Celtics player (except for Iguodala, who barely counts at this point).

Hat tip to Brad.  He's built an almost perfect team, 1 through 14.  To be able to compete with a top-three team in the NBA while missing four starters is crazy, and it didn't feel like a fluke or like Milwaukee was going through the motions.

Feel the same way.  When healthy this team should dominate.  White has really stepped up and Muscala looks like a perfect addition to the team.
