I imagine this means they intend starting Vanderbilt at PF and AD at center. I like that lineup more than the one with T Bryant in it. Big boost to their defense. Bryant can't play D.

A lot more team speed to protect LeBron's aging legs.

They couldn't find a taker for Korkmaz. So they're trading Thybulle to get under the tax.

It has to be hard being a Sixers fan.....

So Portland gets rid of Josh Hart and gets Thybulle. Interesting.

Dang McDaniels was someone I had wanted (him or PJ Washington)

Yeah, at $1.9 million he would have been great.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers have traded Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets in exchange for Davon Reed and three second-round picks.

With DeAndre Jordan largely out of the rotation when the Nuggets have been healthy, there was a need to upgrade the backup center position. Acquiring Bryant does that, although it does torpedo his fantasy value due to the presence of two-time MVP Nikola Jokic. Bryant's providing 10th-round, per-game value in 9-cat formats is nothing to scoff at. But that was with an average of 21.3 minutes per game; he won't play as much in Denver.

Great get for Denver.

Not sure what the heck LA does that for when trying to compete this year. Wasn’t Bryant doing well for them, particularly with AD’s injury concerns?

Surely they don’t view Vanderbilt or Rui as legit bigs for them, right? They’re both stretch 4’s at best.

Vanderbilt is absolutely not a stretch 4.

A garbage man PF.

Yeah, was just thinking the same thing. Makes no sense.

So Milwaukee now have:

G: Jrue Holiday, J Carter
G: Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton
F: Middleton, Ingles
F: Giannis, Crowder
C: B Lopez, B Portis

That is a nice team. Crowder gives that bench a good boost.

Crowder definitely helps.  That's a very good tough defensive minded team.

I'm hoping Josh Richardson gets bought out and wants to rejoin the Celts.

Both Boston and Milwaukee are so deep while also having top-end talent. I think these two teams have separated themselves even more from the pack in the East. Should be a good ECF matchup hopefully!

PG: Smart, Brogdon
SG: Brown, White
SF: Tatum, Hauser
PF: Horford, GWill
C: Timelord, Muscala

Very versatile group with literally only one non-three point threat. Just would like one more wing to eat some regular season minutes from the Jays.

But I take our top 8 over theirs any day. Brogdon (and potentially even White) tips the scales for us, along with our elite shooting.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
