The Warriors are trading James Wiseman to the Pistons for Saddiq Bey, source tells ESPN.

Detroit’s leaning into underachieving former #2 overall bigs, with Bagley already on the roster.  I guess they’re still trying to make up for Darko, and find a #2 pick that makes it.

The Warriors just dumped Wiseman...

So much for this being a quiet deadline. My goodness. Lots of consequential moves.

Bones traded to Clippers. Not sure what for yet though. Good get for them, though a loss for Nuggets.

This trade deadline reminds me of 2008 when the whole balance of power shifted around at the deadline as teams chased the Celtics Big Three.

Dallas traded for J Kidd.
Phoenix traded Marion for Shaq.
LAL got Pau Gasol.

Smaller good moves with SAS getting Kurt Thomas.

All chasing Boston.

Not trying to nitpick and I only bring it up because I'm still mad about it but I would say the Gasol trade was well before the deadline (a few weeks if I recall) which is why other teams were so mad about it.

Yeah, it was like 3 weeks before the actual deadline.

Don't know much about Jalen McDaniels, but apparently, he's going to Philly.

Matisse going out to Portland as part of a 3-team trade.

The Hawks are sending five second-round picks to the Warriors to acquire Bey, source tells ESPN.

And this is why contending teams should trade away 1st round picks for proven players. Guy was the #2 pick in the draft is more than likely a bust. Should have traded him sooner vs letting his value continue to drop.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I feel like this is one of those wide open years where every GM with a half-decent roster and a dollar to spend thinks they have a legit shot at a deep playoff run.  No juggernaut to hide from, and the frontrunners in the standings have all looked beatable at various times this year.  League is pretty wide open, especially out west.

Throw in the fact that Kyrie blew up the Brooklyn Nets and I'm not surprised there's a lot of movement right now.

Jaden McDaniels
Jalen McDaniels

Jaden McDaniels is in Minnesota and is really good starting caliber forward.

Jalen McDaniels was in Charlotte. I can't even remember him other than thinking Charlotte had no quality depth last year. So he made no positive impression. I haven't been watching them this season because they have sucked so badly. So it doesn't appear he is helping win games. His advanced stats are pretty lousy too. Is he any good? He doesn't appear to be any good.

The 76ers got the bad one.

Clippers still lack a good point guard, but adding Bones and Gordon is big.

Poor John Wall. Back to the Rockets haha
