It was a bad idea this summer and it’s a worse idea today. KD has missed time (again) and the Celtics have a young All Star that continues to produce.

Also, If Brad and Wyc decide to trade JB for an injured Durant, I would completely lose faith in the franchise.

Even I’m JKJB, so I seriously doubt there’s any chance of him being dealt before the deadline. Championship or bust. But if we fall short again, we need to give JT either Kawhi or KD next season.

Only if JB says he wants to go somewhere else and be the main man, or if he asks for a ridiculous amount for his next contract.

Durant said that he was never interested in Boston, even after that goofy meeting with Kelly Olynyk and Tom Brady on Long Island.

I’m also not sure why people are adding fuel to the idea that JB doesn’t want to be here. What evidence do we have of this?

Yeah, I haven’t seen any evidence that JB won’t resign here either.

The Lakers would trade JB for a hurt KD. In fact, they traded a ton for perpetually injured AD.

Let’s not be the Lakers. Let’s win a couple rings over the next 5 years by keeping our own players like the Warriors.

The other thing too, I don't think people realize but Jaylen and Tatum still haven't even entered their true primes yet. So they could both continue to get better.

Durant meanwhile has faced injuries in recent years and is 34 years old. I don't think he's someone that'll play past 38-39 tbh so you're also limiting your window doing that. And KD is still hurt right now
