That's the annoying thing. We played poorly, but are up 1. We could win so many of these games but we just make it so difficult for ourselves with the turnovers and FT misses.

So far we've already missed 3 or 4 FTs too

Maybe that's what is wrong, Joe is going thru withdrawals.

The two for one that Smart cried out for doesn't work if you miss two quick shots. It's better to get one good one.

Fortunate to win that quarter.  We're capable of playing much better than that.

We're taking some bad shots in that quarter. Deep threes with a defender on us.

Also, our defense as expected is clearly impacted without Smart and Timelord.

The more the season goes on, the more it becomes clear that we're a pedestrian team when Tatum sits, and the numbers bear that out. Even with Brown, we're not much better than average when Tatum sits.

Really says a lot about how good Tatum has been this year.

True, but we are also watching a really good team this year.

But not perfect! Nothing less than perfection will suffice for us here

Another lazy 3.  Maybe Joe should tell them that we've been actually towards the bottom of the league in 3 point % in the past few months.  But that would require actual coaching.
