I'm still confused at the Lakers on their last possession. They legit took their sweet time going up the court and took 10 seconds before AD shot the 3. I guess they wanted to go home and figured it was officially over at 123-118? But I mean they still had a chance with 11 secs to go...

My MVP for the game was Brogdon

Jaylen was fantastic, but Brogdon was massive for us in the 2nd half, and he also helped keep us in the game during the stretch Brown was sitting due to foul trouble. Also, the guy was practically tasked to cover Anthony Davis for a good chunk of the 2nd half + OT and he did a solid job throughout.

Trading for Brogdon was a great move by Brad and it's paying dividends  ;D

Now they won't stop talking about that missed call on that lebron layup.

As if the C's haven't been shafted by the refs when Lakers play us in the past

Had it been the reverse we’d be screaming from the rooftops - and Cs would have lost.  They’re screaming from the rooftops - and Cs won.  Much better for us.

Exactly.

Also even when he has a "quiet night" he still nonchalantly puts up 20/5/5+ type numbers lol. Tonight wasn't a quiet night obviously but just during the season it feels that way. Sneaky great weapon to have off the bench

Lebron looked pretty good tonight for 38. I didn’t notice much regression.

As much as I am not a huge LBJ fan, the dude is still producing at an incredible level.
Still impossible to stop when he attacks with a head of steam, still hitting clutch shots.
Scary.

He's putting up numbers but not wins.

Oh I agree.  He is gunning for the all time scoring crown, and the lakers aren't very good.
But if the Q is what he is doing at 38 impressive?  I have to admit yes.

I don't mean to downplay what Lebron is doing, he's obviously still phenomenal at age 38

But like... the guy also seems to be jacking up 25-30+ shots a night regularly, including a ton of heroball isos early in the shotclock. Did the same thing tonight. So it's not a surprise he's averaging around 35 PPG the past two weeks when he's taking around 25-30 shots and getting to the line a decent amount too.

It's clear he's chasing the record, but I also don't blame him. I mean it's not like the Lakers are destined to make a deep run in the postseason this year anyways and LBJ knows it too

Brogdon with 26 points and +11 to lead the team.
Biggest free agent signing imo. Him, JT, and JB are a three headed monster
not to nitpick but we got him via a trade using Nesmith and others

Hilarious that Patrick Beverley walked up to the ref with a DSLR, pointing at it to them.

Well deserved T and should've been ejected. LeBron should've also gotten a T for the aggressive complaint. Any other regular players doing that would've been T'ed fast.

Tatum legit gets a technical for simply clapping but these guys can act like clowns and not get techs or ejected??

Yeah, that's called quitting.
