I think it's natural for many teams to become complacent, especially as they're dealing with injuries or are simply tired. But, it's certainly not a best practice. It's what separates a team that wins 50-ish games from a team that wins 60.

Kevin Garnett also. He would not let that team get complacent even for one game or one quarter. We don't have a Kevin Garnett right now but of course neither do most teams.What I see is lack of scheme and execution on offense. Maybe boredom is part of the equation but they have a tendency to fall back into bad habits on offense. I guess it is kind of tedious to work the scheme every possession. Coaching is a part of that. The scheme has to be there. The players of course also. They have to execute.
