When the Celtics do defend they get called for a foul. Warriors are so protected

Mazzulla's timeout logic is extremely dumb.

Mark my words, it's gonna cost us in a playoff game at some point. You can't let a great team like MIL or BKN just waltz to some 18-0 run and think we can still find a way to win, which Mazzulla seems to think we can do because we need to "battle through adversity"  ::)

What do you guys think about Rob? His blocks have been down.
He's letting guys waltz by him to the rim.

In addition to giving them shooting practice from beyond the arc.

(And as I type this, Poole gets another three off the high PnR with Rob way too far down.)

But is that Rob or is that the scheme? To me, it's the scheme. That drop pick & roll coverage has been a problem all year, imo.

It seems to be mostly the scheme, but I do think at least some of it is Rob trying to play back to challenge at the rim.

But, yes, there's absolutely no rational justification for continuing the drop coverage at this point. Yet, here we are.

  • GOT IT!!!
Winning the game means little honesty. C’s gotta get back to playing their game vs this team. They allow them to turn them into something no one does.

Wow. Look at that. A real coach calling a timeout when he senses momentum changing.

What is it with the back street boys commercials. They show it every single break. It is driving me nuts.

Maybe he's not 100%, but Jaylen only having 4 points so far is pathetic. If he even has an average game we'd be up currently

I think Rob's natural instinct is to pay the rim, which is why drop coverage is such a slippery slope for this team. We need to recommit to the switching scheme that worked so well for us last year.
