It doesn't mean the sky is falling in or the season is over and it's wrist slitting time. Basically just put it behind you and move on to the next game, win or lose. Ben also didn't quote him on the first part of his answer which was "well Golden State are the champions, they're a really good team, they've been playing better of late".I'm sure a lot will be made of it though, questions about how serious Tatum really is about winning, if he can't get up for the WORLD CHAMPIONS then why is he here? It hurts us the fans, it should hurt him too! In seriousness he probably could have given the rote quotable answer, which would have been "we're disappointed, we came out to win it, it was a big matchup for us and we fell short". But I guess he's just one of those laid back move-on type guys, for better or worse.
