He is an intriguing player.  Prior first round pick.  Only 22 (almost 23).  Has size.  Seems to have some touch.  But the couple of G League games I saw, along with what I saw in the preseason, he did not show me much.  I am glad he is in our organization.  When you think what he could be, you definitely want keep him in the mix.  But I think he is still a bit away from being ready for the NBA.

I've been seeing some really gaudy numbers floating around from G-Leaguers.  Mark Williams - first rounder from Charlotte had like a 37 point 16 rebound game or something like that.  I wonder how much these number translate to actual NBA value?

Mark Williams is good and should be playing for Charlotte. They are playing vets for some reason instead, even though they are a bad team.

samanic is clearly a g league god. i have seen highlights only, so it is hard to judge. but....

he can shoot the ball.
he is physical under the basket.
he rebounds in traffic.
he has a variety of low post/mid range moves.

my biggest question is over his speed....he seems a bit slow. not tacko slow, but a bit slow for the speed in the nba. i think he can play coming off the bench for a team.

i am glad the celtics have him on their maine team and i hope they can find a way to keep him. he is better than vonleh, i think.

He is a bit slow footed and he doesn't have a high motor. He needs to play with more urgency if he's going to come off an NBA bench.
