I have been sayin this since day 1. Brogden is a superior player and Marcus is hurting us. What was was he 1-9 on threes. He has value in a role.

Marcus is most overrated Celtic I have ever seen. He makes great hustle plays, but he also makes way to may mistakes. We in Boston love the hustle so we overlook the mistakes.

Mazzula I'm afraid doesn't see it and will not take move. We may revert to early season form last year.

Where is Payton Pritchard. Luke Kornet getting more minutes than Pritchard is not right.

Well Kornet does fill a position of need for us with GWill suspended

I don’t really care who starts, but Brogdon needs to be in the game at the end. He should be getting more minutes and Smart needs to be playing and shooting less. Marcus played 37mins, went 3-15 from the field and took 9 shots from 3pt! Malcolm only logged 22mins and went 3-5 from the field. Only attempted 1 shot from 3pt and he made it. Why trade for a guy who is capable of having a 50/40/90 season if you aren’t going to let him shoot!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agree. Brogdan is the point and should start. Smart go come off the bench.

And they might as well play a traffic cone instead of Kornet.

While I agree that Brogdon is better than Smart, I shudder to think how bad our bench would be without Brogdon.  No bigs + Grant + Hauser + Smart.

I think the biggest issue is that we're getting 2021 Marcus instead of the 2022 version.  A turning point with Smart last season was Ime holding him accountable after Smart called out the Jays.  I worry that Mazz doesn't have that strength.

Mazzula needs to show balls and step up. He also kept Tatum out to long. Pritchard is better than Hauser. I don't care about size.

I agree for the most part. Let Brogdon come off the bench, but he definitely deserves a bigger role. There's no reason he shouldn't be a frontrunner for the Sixth Man of the Year. He can make that sort of impact but he doesn't feel like he's being properly utilized in the offense right now.

All true, though Brogdon is an injury risk and I'd love to see him healthy and strong at the end of the year.  If fewer minutes means playoff Brogdon, it's worth keeping his mpg relatively low.    Smart from long range is agonizing -- it's always been, and apparently will continue to be.  It does feel that you have to take the good with the bad with Marcus.  Sometimes he's the most impactful player on the court (positively).  Sometimes he costs.

The bench legit has only two guys with a darn. It might be the worst bench they have had in years.  Not sure why Brad went bargain shopping for a back up wing (Hauser) and two bigs that should not be on a nba roster

I’m not saying play Brogdon 38mpg, but how about 28-30? He is a better passer and shooter than either Smart or White. Malcolm playing 22mins in an OT game is unacceptable. You give Brogdon 3 or 4 of those shots that Smart took and the C’s win the game tonight.
