Throughout the 4th Cavs had a much easier time scoring than the C's.  It seemed pretty unlikely C's were going to win once they got to OT.  Cavs are tough.  Smart, cool, great size.  Will be a tough out.  Not having Grant wasn't good, but Celtics now lost 2 in a row after putting together double-digit leads.  This is the C's we hoped not to see this year.

This loss is on Grant Williams. Hopefully the suspension teaches him to shut the heck up so he can stay on the floor. Can’t have Kornet playing big minutes and closing games against playoff teams.
The loss is on management for having an awful bench. Kornet and Griffin are not real players and should not be on the roster.

Cavs starters were 40-71 or 56%

Move smart to the bench and start brogan. It should have been done day one

Kornet cannot play in the nba. He’s flat out terrible. Vonleah no better. One guy off the bench worth a darn.

Kornet +10 Smart -16...

Echoing the disappointment. I realize TL is out, but our defense is just horrific on pretty much all fronts. We'll look good on offense for a while, but we no longer have our D to fall back on and we're seeing that we're just another team without that.

Cs are an on-year, off-year type of team. Last year was an on-year, which unfortunately may mean this one is an off.

The cs were garbage in the first half of last season

Let’s be real. CBS has to figure out this front court and make moves at the deadline. Because relying solely on Timelord to stay healthy is probably not the best move and when a guy like Kornet has to play 25+ minutes when we’re missing 2 frontcourt players… YIKES

Elite teams or even mediocre teams with strong front courts will demolish us

Exactly. And you are right about RobW. We cannot depend on his health to win a title.
Wake up Brad - he is still in love with small ball and being GM makes that worse.

It's pretty crazy that we went into the season using three roster spots on Kornet, Griffin, and Vonleh. I guess Griffin can be considered proven to some extent, but he was pretty well known to be washed.

We knew TL was going to be out long-term. What was the plan here?

This is going to continue to happen until Brad makes a move for a legit big and sends Kornet to Maine and Vonleah to china.

Can’t win with that garbage on the bench.

Kornet legit stood there in OT and watched. Smart was awful also

Smart threw this game away. The bench was all in the plus except Griffin -1...

Kornet is a convenient whipping boy, and he definitely sucks out there.  Brad should be criticized heavily.

But, when we give up 85 combined points to Mitchell and Lavert, we're going to lose.  Our perimeter defenders need to show something.

Defense has been nonexistent all season. Blew two nice leads the last two games.

I put the blame squarely on Stevens

Oh yeah, like when Kornet threw the ball away along with the game. I never understand why Smart is always defended on here even when he puts up a stinker like this...
