The Cs are an awful defensive team. Zero identity without a quality big man.

Celtics have been garbage defensively all season. The Vonleah experience isn’t going to work. Minute he came in things went south

They are just too small. We all saw it when Brad passed on a legit big

Big shot to end the half by Marcus- only down 11 at half but feels like we’re down 25

Wow, I've watched two minutes and the C's look shell-shocked and soft. What happened?

We were leading by 19 shooting 9-10 from 3 and since then the bulls have gone on a 47-11 run with us 1-16 from 3 since. Our defense was bad all game but they were making 3s so it wasn’t noticed but then Chicago started to take us apart and we couldn’t buy one

The Chicago run started when our vaunted bench came on, Vonleh, Brogdon, Hauser, GWill

I had a bad feeling when the Celtics got up big, after making all those 3's. You knew they would fall in love with the 3, stop making them, and let the Bulls back in the game. The 3 is such a bail out shot.

That quarter could not end quickly enough.  Worst quarter in recent memory.

One of the worst quarters in a long time. Guys standing around watching, lazy shot selection, no rebounding, no ball movement.

Defense non existent

Yeah, the defense thing is concerning. I know we're minus Timelord, but our D hasn't been consistently good at all in the first few games. Hopefully that's just an issue of cleaning off the rust and also getting Timelord back.

Did we have an extended run of non-Jay minutes? From reading the posts that's what it looks like. Joe has been a bit too reliant on that in the first few games. Don't think at this point you can have a non-Jay lineup for more than 30 seconds or so at a time.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

So I guess we aren't going to play defense this season?

It was a 30 point swing since we were up 19. Unbelievable.

Brad please sign a legit big that can rebound and defend bigs. Getting killed on the boards. Favors, cousins, Howard. I don’t care.

This is Joe Mazz’s first test of his NBA coaching career…how to regroup the team and get them to play defense again. They went from heroes to zeroes from one quarter to the next. But games only half over so plenty of time to count a comeback

Joe needs to emphasize to not let their poor offense affect their defense. Get Blake in instead of Vonleh, Vonleh isn’t feeling it tomight
