Washington and Indiana are now 4 games behind Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta in the loss column.   Play-in games are going to be intense…

The way they are playing, I think Chicago has a real chance at advancing from the play in tournament as an 8 seed.

Adding Beverley really helped them. Gave them some additional defense, toughness and attitude.

Oh man, what a (ballsy) shot by KAT! Takes the fastbreak three with a 3 on 1 advantage, down 1, with 10 seconds to go and... nails it!

Yeah, Bulls desperately needed leadership and he certainly provided that.

Looking at potential matchups…I’m not sure there will be any sweeps this postseason. Playoffs should be highly entertaining. Can’t wait.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Are the Mavs tanking?

Yes, but not on purpose.
Imploding due to a sudden cancer diagnosis, more accurately.

Don't you want to see the Lakers swept? Also what is going on in Dallas?

If PHI loses tonight, then I think it's official the C's won't finish worse than 2nd. A PHI loss means they'd have to make up a 4-game difference on us with 7 games left. That's not happening

Something I didn't realize though, Cleveland is only 2 games back of PHI. Now PHI does have the tiebreaker between the two, but Cleveland's schedule is extremely easy to finish. In fact, I can definitely see CLE winning out in the final 6 games. PHI's schedule is pretty tough though, with games remaining against BOS, MIL, MIA, DEN, and a few tricky ones as well against Toronto and Dallas.

So Philly may not even be a shoo-in for the 3rd seed just yet, especially if they lose tonight. CLE has a chance to overtake them down the stretch, and that can obviously also affect things such as potential matchups between 1 vs. 4/5, 2 vs. 3, etc. The 1 seed may actually play PHI 2nd round IF things unfold like that^

The only team I want swept is the team that the Celtics play. I’m hoping all other series are
Long-drawn-out.

In regards to Dallas, clearly the Kyrie experiment was a mistake and they traded away some good players to get him. I also think the ball dominant play of Doncic and his poor defense is a problem. Losing Brunson was a massive blow and the Christian Woods trade isn’t working out either. Cuban’s decision making doesn’t seem as good as it used to be.

Shocking...

The NBA has rescinded Luka Doncic's 16th technical foul, the league announced Monday. When a player picks up his 16th technical foul of the season, he is subject to an automatic one-game suspension. However, with his 16th technical foul rescinded, Doncic will be eligible to play for the free-falling Dallas Mavericks on Monday in a crucial game against the Indiana Pacers.

Embiid took a bunch of subtle shots at Jokic regarding the MVP race and there was an article about it as well. And now... he's ruled out for tonight's game against the Nuggets.

Lol that's not a good look tbh. Embiid and the Sixers are also getting flamed about it on social media

I can't wait until all this MVP nonsense is done & over with.  It's been bad this year.

Yeah. I still think it's Embiid, but I find it incredibly soft from Embiid especially if you read all the quotes he said about it including some criticisms about Jokic. Why did Embiid even play the Suns game then? That made more sense in terms of being "cautious"

Embid not playing this game seems really out of character.

Come on Pistons, you’ve got a 1.5 game lead for last place, so you can afford a win.  Let this be it!
