On the positive side of the Nets resurgence, it likely means someone like Cleveland, Milwaukee or Phili will have to deal with them in the playoffs before we do. Unlike last season where we got them in the first round after the Bucks tanked to avoid them.

How can you be so certain about this when there is still too many games to be played...lets not get over ourselves and just wait till the season play out...if the Nets keep surging as it is non of the teams you mentioned aint facing them as well in round 1 and we may still end up facing them in round 2 anyways.

Five pretty good teams in each conference with nobody really standing out. It's going to be a long, grueling season and it's going to come down to the war of attrition and who can make it through the inevitable injuries and getting hot at the right time. That's why last year was such a heart breaker because there's no guarantee the Celtics get back there again.

That's true. The C's may not even be the #1 seed by the end of the season.

Draymond Green in a little scuffle with Isaiah Stewart...immediately showed restraints and backed down. Got ejected tho cuz second technical.

But Dray knew he don't want no smoke with Stewart  8)

Nuggets just pounding the Clippers, 63-25 with 2 min left in the half.

I don’t know if I have ever seen a nba team down by 40 at the half.

Clippers play again tom so I won’t be surprised if Kawhi and PG play limited mins in the second half.

Four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins is expected to work out for the Los Angeles Lakers at some point next week, league sources tell Bleacher Report. The official date has yet to be determined, sources say. He has been working out six days a week in Las Vegas. The free-agent center hopes to impress a Lakers franchise in evaluation mode. As of Jan. 5, teams are now allowed to sign players to 10-day contracts.

Until he appeared briefly in the game last night, I had forgotten that Kemba signed with Dallas.  It's a shame that his injuries cut his career short.

They might be. If Murray, Porter and Gordon can give The Joker a little help they'll be tough to beat.
The West is pretty much wide open.

I’d prefer a Nuggets loss.

Naji Marshall has a nice edge to his game.
